I thought of you 5,279 times today so I thought I'd
My annual membership in the Disney Tote Bag* Club is getting ready to expire so I'm making another tote bag. Last week I made a prototype. I was trying to use up a spool of white thread so I'd have the satisfaction of adding it to my spool collection (formerly known as Rod).
Instead of using muslin or some cheap fabric I have, I sewed together little scraps of fabric to make the fabric for my proto. Not only did the spool make it through that, but I made 30+ quilt squares and 16 pillows for GKTW. I guess I'm not very good at judging when a spool is almost finished.
I was determined to use up the spool before starting on the Real Bag. (Some people might call that stalling, but I know you wouldn't.)
-- or would you?
Anywho, as I'm walking along, singing my song, making my bag I both
enjoyed it, and
kept thinking, how can anyone make money selling stuff they make?????
That's a rhetorial question, we've discussed before, but I think you should at least triple the amount you get for your bags. (Or hire street urchins to help ((if you have then in MN)) for 25¢ an hour.)

*Have you ever Googled something and "found yourself"? When I Googled Disney tote bag, the first tote bag I made showed up. That's kinda eerie.
The before and after photos are great. And, I can't believe you're thinking about a return trip next year. Hooray!
