Sew much to do, sew little time - but it was worth it! New PTR link posted! ~~~~~~~~~

okay I am loving your trip report update. So many cool photos. I am not a huge fan of MK :confused3 so we are not there that often though there are some rides I do like there.

Have really enjoyed reading your trip report! What beautiful photos and what a fantastic holiday, I love how you have pictures from previous trips with your daughters i think thats really magical.

Wow your bags are just amazing! xx

Getting caught up. boo for A feeling sick at Disney. Glad the nap worked. We have never rode Dumbo but those night pictures are beautiful and we just might have to try and fit it in.

I'm glad that Alli started to feel better. I was worried there for a moment, as I'm sure you were too when you were down there. There's nothing worse than being sick at Disney during your last few days there.

Such beautiful shots of Dumbo at night. It's really something to see. I can't wait to see it in person.

ROFL Marianne! That would be so fun! Ask the boys if I can come too? popcorn:: Max doesn't quite have his license yet... :rolleyes1

D~
Of course you can come too!
They said they think Max would enjoy the trip most if you all brought the jeep . . . lots of open air between there and RI ;)

Hi Marianne!!!! (Too lazy to go find the smilie that waves.)

What theme are you doing for the party? How about a trimming the bushes, mulching and lawn mowing party at my house? We had one estimate for mowing (so far) and I :scared: (fainted guy isn't on page 1 either :sad2:). I know the cost of living in RI is higher, but it was way more than I expected! So I was thinking it would be good exercise and bonding time for you and the boys to take care of everything for me :flower3:

Hope you are having in fun in RI! If our house ever sells I am going to send you to the fabric store to get me some Beatles fabric for dd. If our house doesn't sell no said fabric will be purchased.

Hi Andrea! :wave2:

We're doing a SuperHero theme! If I didn't already have the games planned, etc. I'd totally throw in "superhero yard helpers" into the mix! I did, however, email you a couple of additional names to check out for landscaping, etc.

Although, if you guys do end up coming up here and wait until after Michelle is back from Disney, I bet we could all meet you there and lend a hand ... and then have you over here for a cook-out afterwards :-)

It could be your grass is a mile high since all it does is RAIN... RAIN. sun for a 1/2 hr .... and more F@*%# RAIN

Today was the first day I think the sun has stayed out for most of the day:lmao:

The weather has been crazy!

One the way back to the resort, I snapped a picture of this poster in the bus, I had thought it was so cute every time I saw it... So, I wanted a picture.

IMG_4597.jpg

D~

Aw! That's the poster we kept seeing that made Finn want to do Pirate's League!

Yah - I was so glad we went back that night, it was probably one of the best nights of our trip! And I just love the parks at night! I never understood how people could *gasp* leave the parks during the middle of the day - I always thought it was a waste of time. But it was one of the best things we did on the days we could make it work. Once you go back in the evening, the crowds are nearly gone and the weather is so much nicer. The girls and I have decided that this is what we'd like to do every time. :wizard:

ACK!!! Michelle!!! Your trip is like in a few days!!!!! OMG!!!!

YOu know, I was never one for riding the old Dumbo - I could honestly take it or leave it. And the only reason I wanted to ride it this time was to take a few pics - but now that they've redone it - I honestly think it's now on my must do list! I hope the 2nd Dumbo is open when you get there - that would be way awesome!

Thanks Andrea! Well, theoretically, I could drag this TR out for several more months... I still have one more day to write about... And not to mention 2000+ Photopass pictures to post (ahem, glad I went Pro on Photobucket)... This TR could still last quite a while. But yes, at some point - I do plan to start another PTR - if I could just decide on dates. Sigh. By the time I pay for my trip to Charlotte, that will take a HUGE chunk out of the Disney fund... Maybe Marianne will build me a mini-WDW in her back yard? Anyways, by the time I return from CLT, it will be about the same time last year as I booked our trip - and I am just not sure I want to scramble that hard again? I dunno - we'll have to see...
D~

I've never quite gotten it either . . .although I think we definitely need to do this a couple of times on our next trip!!! DH and I have done a couple of "date nights" where we sent the boys back with the g-rents and we stayed at the park, but never done the "nap and then back" . . .I think we need to try it!

I love Dumbo, but totally for the nostalgia factor . . . but now it looks so beautiful!!! I'm excited all over again!

Oooh . . . I'll tell Phalen you would like a mini WDW . . .he'll start brainstorming!

:scared1: I know... so much still to do so little time.

Eek! So jealous! although you'll be gone for Finn's party, otherwise I would have been needing your address :rolleyes1
We really do need to get together when you get back though . . . if you can squeeze in a visit before you leave, let me know, but I totally understand the pre-trip craziness!

Okay - I need to get back to making the bazillion sponge-bombs . . . birthday party/summer fun prep is killing me! I'm trying to keep it uber-low-budget which means lots of me doing on my own (which I usually at least have my Charlotte partner-in-crime, Amber, to help me) . . .

Do you have your SuperHero shirts embroidered? Did you take your machine with you? I presume you did -- I think you would be a fool not to!

I am going to call your friend first -- if I could at least get him to do the bushes and mulch I would be soooo happy -- it seems like the professional companies are more concerned about their reputation and want the house looking like it came out of house and garden -- I just want it presentable / a decent first impression -- I don't need uber glamourous. If your friend just does this as a side job I don't think he's worried about accruing numerous landscaping jobs. Is this the one that got married recently?

I don't know what a sponge bomb is, but i do know I party plan like you do from making the invitations to creating all the games and decor. And that is why my kids only get birthday parties every few years :rotfl2:

think we are going to try and do that a few days next trip too, especially since it will be all decorated for the holidays, don't want to miss the beautiful lights :goodvibes

good for you taking a day off yesterday, needs to be done once in awhile :thumbsup2

That would be an excellent touring plan during the holidays!

Okay, now I have to add "Dumbo at Night" to my must do list  Glad Alli felt better for the last night...she would've missed out on lots of good memories. Of course Pirate Goofy loved V's outfit. Did you get any love for your awesome pirate clothes??

For sure! Dumbo definately went from "Meh, who cares if I ever ride it..." to "OMG, it's a must do - especially at night!"

Unfortunately - I got no love from my pirate clothes... Although, Donald did like them a little bit. :confused3

okay I am loving your trip report update. So many cool photos. I am not a huge fan of MK :confused3 so we are not there that often though there are some rides I do like there.

That's something I never knew about you Chiara... I thought everyone loved MK. LOL

Thanks Sarah! And welcome! I hope you'll continue to follow my TR. :)

Yes, you must try to squeeze it in!

:scared1: I know... so much still to do so little time.

You'll make it Michelle - I have faith!

I am very glad A started to feel better that night. Dumbo is so much more amazing in person - however - I don't know how I'd know that, I had that darn camera stuck to my face the whole time. :rolleyes1

Of course you can come too!
They said they think Max would enjoy the trip most if you all brought the jeep . . . lots of open air between there and RI

ROFL... I love your boys - they are so cute!

Aw! That's the poster we kept seeing that made Finn want to do Pirate's League!

ROFL - the funny thing is, I took that picture because it reminded me of Finn when he was in the Pirate's League.

I've never quite gotten it either . . .although I think we definitely need to do this a couple of times on our next trip!!! DH and I have done a couple of "date nights" where we sent the boys back with the g-rents and we stayed at the park, but never done the "nap and then back" . . .I think we need to try it!

I do think you need to try it. However - I think you need to be staying at a Disney resort for it to work properly? When we were staying at SoG - even though the location was prime - the walk from the monorail really prohibited us from going back to our room in the middle of the day... but since our room location at POFQ was quite convenient to the bus stop - it really was super easy to ditch the parks when it was super hot and go back later to close it.

I love Dumbo, but totally for the nostalgia factor . . . but now it looks so beautiful!!! I'm excited all over again!

Yah - I think you need to see it again... Hopefully we can plan a trip together soon!

Oooh . . . I'll tell Phalen you would like a mini WDW . . .he'll start brainstorming!

Tell Phay... I will need:

1 Splash Mountain ride
1 Dole Whip in front of the Castle
1 Cream Cheese Pretzel with a Frozen Coke

And if he has time - I would really appreciate a towel animal on my bed.

:thumbsup2

Eek! So jealous! although you'll be gone for Finn's party, otherwise I would have been needing your address :rolleyes1

You will do fine Marianne! I can't wait to see the Sponge Bombs though... popcorn::

I hope you are able to get it figured out and SOLD Andrea!

Nothing interesting going on here... Headed to my sewing room this morning - locking myself in there too... Can't come out until I've made good progress on this bag. pirate:

Love the awesome updates! I think it is interesting to see the parks from someone elses point of view. I especially love the series of Dumbo at night. Amazing. I probably would have taken a gazillion pictures too. I think everything looks even more magical when it is all lit up at night. (I so want to go back again. Just the three of us, so we can tour the parks our way. And see everything at night again. I think that is what I missed the most this past trip - seeing the parks at night.)

Congrats to Alli on graduating! And MM is getting so big! Still stinking cute too!

:wave2: Good morning everyone.... I can do the single digit dance today:cool1:

Awe... I would have loved to go to Finn's party :sad2:

I know we have to get together soon but if not definitely after. It just crazy with trying to get everything done and still do "work" work :lmao:

:scared1: I know... so much still to do so little time.

I can't believe your trip is almost here.

Yes D I am not the biggest MK fan. I think it is because I find it too crowded LOL though if I get there at rope drop I am better about it.

I am a huge fan of the afternoon nap cool down.

Oh, and I think introducing your Dole Whip to each castle was a very nice thing to do. Poor little DW probably never gets to see the sites...it is very sad :sad2:

I agree - I just love the parks at night, they are so beautiful! It's one of my favorite things about WDW!

8 Days Michelle!!! I can't believe it!!! So, can you just do a small update here and tell us some of the highlights you have planned for your trip?

I can't believe your trip is almost here.

I agree - I love RD too. LOL I really enjoyed our afternoon breaks too.

Thanks Suzi - I knew someone would understand. Poor DW.

Well - I made excellent progress on the bag I am working on - and I love how all the fabric choices are coming together... It was something I struggled with right up until I started working on it, and even then, I wasn't quite sure. But now that I am seeing everything together - it looks quite awesome! :thumbsup2 So, I am happy and relieved about that.

Josh made it home from his fishing trip last night. They all had a great time - as usual. I am glad to have him home, because the girls faught non-stop the entire time he was gone. They just nag eachother and drive me crazy! :scared:

I hope everyone has a wonderful day today! :flower3:

FYI - for those of you not on FB... I booked my flights this morning for our Disbou Meet in Charlotte this summer... Airfare dropped and the timing was perfect!

That is awesome. I need to see if I can sneak away still because my parents are going away the same weekend.
