Sew Much Fun...13 of Cinderella's Mice head to WDW! (update 3/10 page 23)

Hey...I am checking in....and you all are chit chatting still! :rotfl: I used to scrapbook until I had more pics than time to put them all in albums. And the sewing addiction took hold and it was over. I figure I will scrapbook when I retire. I do want to try the online scrapbooking. I've seen some beautiful pages that Stacey did. Oh man! Great stuff. Did you see hers?

For some reason I had never seen Stacy's report until yesterday! They were awesome pages, along with her entire report.

Those sweatshirts were just awesome! Bling and all!

I love Mickey saying good morning to you. I have never seen the show, not even on you tube. Guess I'll go and find it!

Oh all the Disney shows, parades, rides, fireworks, and special events are on YouTube. That's how we get our Disney fix when need be!

Yaaaaa!!! Glad you make it to RD at MK! And of course you can steal the pic! I had no idea you all were going to be there that day...and you just made your plans on the spot? Do you realize we had a typed and laminated itinerary by the minute??? :rotfl2: We actually followed it too! So let me guess your first ride....was it.....Toy Story???

Those sweatshirts are so very cute!

I'm glad you made it to your first ever rope drop. I have a hard time sleeping at Disney in general so I like to burn the candle at both ends. ;)

Thanks for allowing me to steal! We made no plans other than ADRs before we got there. We completely went with the flow. Which is good because the crowd size (as I've mentioned a 1000 times through me into a tizzy)

Good guess on the ride but that wasn't the 1st one!

See I sleep like the dead there. All the walking does me good!

So glad you guys made rope drop! Now what's next?? LOL!!!

We are two mommies without our kiddos....we are heading to the Big Kid rides!

I really, really tried to be quiet. I stay in bed like 30 minutes, then I really, really had to potty. I thought I was being quiet until I banged my knee into the toilet paper holder- and you laughed at me!

I had a lot of fun going with the flow. We did pretty much everything we wanted to- other than toy story (which I did twice on Monday).

Glad to hear that everything went well. Hope next week is a lot easier emotionally.

“Next Stop Tomorrowland Transit Authority”

Okay we so did NOT go on the People Mover First. We went on Space Moutain…before there was anyone in line. We walked on-which was fabulous. Part of our game plan was to get the Mountain Trifecta finished quickly before the lines were too bad. But we also figured that we should finish an area before moving on to the next. Because we didn’t have any kiddos with us, we didn’t need to rush to Fantasyland so that was a bonus of this plan.

Next up was Buzz Lightyear. We walked onto that too. So far so good! I normally really and truly STINK at Buzz. (I would say a stronger but this is a family friend board!). I can never tell where my laser is pointing so I just shoot at anything. I had just finished explaining this to Stacy when the guns were activated. My score immediately jumped up to 300,000 something!!! WHAT??? This never happens. I truly don’t know what I hit (Jessica’s husband Lin later explained to me that I hit something in the back in the first room). I didn’t hit too much else during the rest of the game. But I still beat Stacy and got my personal best score by a lot. I was so excited!!!

After Buzz , we did the Laugh Floor. I still find this show amusing but I think I have now seen all of the storyline options. It’s okay…I still giggled enough that the doors opened. Problem was that the schoolgirls from Argentina had no descended on the MK and were joining us for the show. Ya, they didn’t get it. So it was less funny than it could have been.

At this point we were getting ready of Breakfast. We had previously decided to go to Main St Bakery after I had read on other people’s TRs that you could use CS credits there for breakfast. It was packed in there. We were in line for awhile to get our food. I got the ham/egg/cheese croissant and some tea. Stacy got some kind of breakfast pastry. When we got to cash register they told us that we had to get a “snack” too. Since we weren’t going back through the line to get something that would count as a snack, we had to get one of the two options at the cash register: banana or Doritos. Stacy being the good one got the banana. I got the Doritos…goes much better with a sandwich than bananas.

While at breakfast, we saw our first custom (stripework jumper). There was really a huge lack of customs on this trip. This will come apparent later on in the day.

After breakfast, we fought our way over to Adventureland. I was in the mood for a little face time with Capt. Jack. Luckily there wasn’t that long of a line for Pirates. Longer than I had ever waited but we moved quickly

When we got out of Pirates, we decided to head over to the other two mountains before it got any later in the day. We timed it perfectly…how I’m not sure. For some reason, all the big groups had left BTMRR so we only had about a 5 minute wait for that. I’ve always wanted to get pictures of the train going on the Mountains but I’m a complete klutz and I’m so afraid that I would let go of my camera. BUT we got the front seat so I did it anyway…can’t let my readers down with no pictures!

I took all of those while the train was in motion…not bad huh?

After that, it had warmed up enough that we could remove our hoodies, we decided that we would brave Splash Mountain….despite warnings

We stuffed our hoodies inside our Bagallinnis and were on our way. The line wasn’t too bad here either. I think we went opposite of the big groups because as we were walking from BTMRR to SM, the line for BTMRR went from a 5 minute wait to a 40 minute wait…and that might have been generous. The line was all the way back to the FP machines.

We got off Splash and wandered down the path to the Riverboat. I’ve never ridden the Riverboat…well I might have when I was a kid but I don’t remember. It was loading so we decided to go for a ride. Overall it was nice little break. Stacy actually took out her camera at this point so I decided to let her take most of the pictures. I did catch castle though.

As we were coming back around, I couldn’t BELIEVE the line at HM…which was to be our next ride. I was so amazed by it…I took pictures. OF THE WHOLE LINE. Just imagine that these pictures are side by side and you’ll get the idea

That’s right…all the way back to Columbia Harbour House. In our plan to have no plans, we quickly decided to skip HM and save it until it was dark. Cooler than anyway. Instead we headed over to Fantasyland to check out the situation over there.

Great pictures while you were in motion. Very impressive. I can't believe the HM line, that is insane! :scared1: I think you were a Brazilian Tour magnet this trip! ;)

Do you see them in their matching shirts and backpacks??? It was crazy. The really concerning part was that there didn't appear to be any chaperones. So those parents sent these kids off to a foreign country where they minimally spoke the language and left them unsupervised? That's NUTS! :scared1:

That is crazy insane HM line for February! I love the pictures from BTMRR.

Thank you! That line scared me. I was afraid that we weren't going to get on anything for the rest of the trip!

I interupt this regularly scheduled TR to let you know that I have booked my return to Disney!!! All booked for October 23-27th to celebrate Aisling's 6th bday! Now...nobody tell Ash :ssst:

WOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I am so excited for you!!!

 :woohoo: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

I'm so excited too!!! Mostly because it's a surprise. I really hope I can pull it off. Little concerned how I'm going to make and try on outfits without her noticing ;) We'll figure it out!

I had to end up doing the 2 ressie thing. One with a AAA discount and one with the 40% off pin. If a passholder discount comes out, I'll combine them into one ressie and be able to get the DDP. If not, we'll have to pay for food OOP :scared1:

Are you going to have to switch rooms?? I hope not, that would stink.

Just set aside the money for OOP, it will be fine. :thumbsup2

They noted on the ressie that we have 2 ressies and want to stay in the same room but it's not guaranteed. The CM also suggested that I beg at check in. ;)

I'm still praying for the AP discount. It would just make life easier. I think I have to go and "check-in" again on day 3 the way it is which is again a PAIN. I'm not as concerned about paying for the dining OOP as much as I am about the convenience of just using DDP..so much easier. Now I have a LOT of time to plan out my ADRs!!
