Sew Much Fun...13 of Cinderella's Mice head to WDW! (update 3/10 page 23)

Please don't tell me that you have a Cricut sitting around in a box!

Oh please! It is TOTALLY out of the box! Sitting right here next to me, buried in paper because I NEVER use it!

I ordered the CDS and Paper dolls cartridge and another, I think xmas but never got it (same lady Tom and Shannon ordered from). I eventually got my money back and just never reordered. I only have 1 cartridge, I am not in love with the disney one so thought I would just buy the sure cuts a lot program. Then I decided I should save some money!

I have tons of scrapbook stuff, paper, albums and stuff! but never do anything with it! There is a lady on ebay that I love and buy alot of her stuff, but again, sitting in a drawer. I need a table that I can lay the stuff out on and leave it and I just can't find the space. I use ever table I find and pile it with stuff!

I didn't realize Aisling was born in October, she is exactly a year younger than Luke! (he's the 16th)

Yup...the 24th. She was due the week after Thanksgiving. She decided she just HAD to be here for Halloween! I didn't realize that they were exactly a year apart either.

Hey, that's my mom's birthday! Only the best women are born on October 24!

My original theory was that I was saving money. I was really only buying about 30 total (so about $100). Much cheaper then a sizzix (this was before cricut) and all that I would want. Well, turns out that I don't think it worked out that way. I need to order a few more, mainly I am missing most of her US ones. She doesn't have alot listed right now, some of the better ones I don't see. BUT now I can't decide how to do my albums, which is my issue. I don't want to mix her stuff with other stuff because mine won't be as good!

Hmm, I got a great idea! How about we have a scrap meet at my house this summer, bring all the kiddos and they can play, you guys can help me scrap and do a little of your own! And then we can swim once were done! Sounds like a deal to me! I'll be like Jeanne and you can stay in my basement (minus I don't have a super cool kitchen, or castle or stage or well, most of her super cool things).

We were at the disney outlet and Lin picked up a disney scrapbook album that was christmas 12x12 and I knew my friends would have liked them too! I almost picked up a couple of extras. Darn me! We did get us one, I think that makes, oh, 10 or books I have.

No what you need is a scrapbooking store that has a crop room. This is the place that I go to:
http://www.thescrapbookersdream.net/

Check out the fab crop room. Sat crops are 12-12 (with all meals included). If I tried to scrap at home, I would never get anything accomplished.

Hey, that's my mom's birthday! Only the best women are born on October 24!

Clearly a fantastic day to be born! :thumbsup2

Funny this is that I was induced 4 times over 8 days and she didn't want to come. My mom kept saying that she wouldn't come until the 24th because everyone in my family has a 4 in their birthdate...and she was right!

Scrap weekend at your house...I'm there!!! I'm dying to do a whole weekend one. Did you guys know that they have one at Disney (I think it's in May). Think of how much we'd get done. Oh who am I kidding...we'd sit around and gab and get nothing accomplished ;) :rotfl2:

I have to toally agree with you on two things

(1) Are we really in a recession with so many people at Disney????? LOL!!!!! I was there last week and I couldn't belive all the people there considering the economic times we arefacing. I personally thing President Obama should go to Disney and see what the people he are trying to help are spending there money on. LOL

(2) You know you've been going to disney too many times when you reconize houses. MY family is so good at this. LOL. We always pick out the same houses, stores, gas stations, etc.

Great T.R. can't wait to read more. You first rope drop, must have been exciting:thumbsup2 I actually just went to my first rope drop on my 12th trip, my family were always late risers and never went to parks in the mornings, but this year we actually got up and went early. It paid off!!!!! But you'll have to read my TR for that story, but I haven't gotten to that part yet!!!!!!!

:welcome: I will definitely go check out your TR. Hope it warmed up by the time you got there.

Obama should take the girls down to Disney for a week. Disney announced lay offs this week...SERIOUSLY? Who's going to help all the people who are in the parks??? Thank God we are going to be getting that extra $13 in our paychecks starting in June....more money for everyone to blow at Disney :woohoo:

Weekend? We need a week! But I'll take a weekend!

We have an Archivers somewhat near and they do that, but I have no one that would go with me and I am always here with Dallas. Lin works pretty much every weekend. I am not sure I want to haul all my stuff out though, wouldn't that be a pain?

OOOOH an Archivers??? I've always wanted to go to one. We don't have one remotely close to here. All our scrapbooking places are little mom/pop type places.

I have a rolling bag (for scrapbook supplies) that has all my tools in it. I have a plastic box that carries the pages that I'm currently working on. She has a Cricut there so I big things like that you wouldn't need to bring with you. Plus there is a store attached so if you forget something/ need something, you run a tab all day and pay it when you leave.

Being able to run a tab would be quite dangerous! I bet it is alot of fun though!

Hey...I am checking in....and you all are chit chatting still! :rotfl: I used to scrapbook until I had more pics than time to put them all in albums. And the sewing addiction took hold and it was over. I figure I will scrapbook when I retire. I do want to try the online scrapbooking. I've seen some beautiful pages that Stacey did. Oh man! Great stuff. Did you see hers?

It was warm when we got there. It was in the 80's for the first few days and then it went down into the high 70's.

Scrapbooking weekend/week, I am in! I will even bring Jackson and Cooper- though you might rethink that! They are crazy little things! I just do digi scrap though (already told you this). I used to have tons of traditional scrap supplies, but my mom is storing them for me right now. She thought she might do it, so I let her borrow them. She hasn't opened anything at all.

Thanks so much Cathy. You guys know how to make a girl feel good! i need to get going, I still have 30 pages left to do from last year (the present that I give my parents and grandparents for Christmas- as in 2 months ago!!)

Kristine- hope your week turned out OK and court wasn't as bad as you thought. I have been thinking about you!:flower3:

Court was court...In a sick way, I enjoy every minute of it. Unfortunately it was continued for a whole MONTH. So I have a little break but I kinda just want to get it over with. The wake/funeral was beautiful. I've never been to a military service before. They really do an amazing job.

Thanks for asking

Of course we made it to rope drop…I was rooming with Stacy (the woman who never sleeps ;) :rotfl2: ). We had set two alarms the night before to make sure that we got up in enough time to get two women ready and still make it to rope drop. However, a full hour and 15 minutes before the alarm went off, Miss Stacy was bouncing out of bed with excitement. In fairness to her…she tried to be quiet. :rolleyes1

So she headed into the shower to get ready while lazy Kristine continued to lay in bed and watch the news (we had gotten our clothes out and park bags packed the night before so there wasn’t much to do). The two of us finished making ourselves beautiful for the day and headed out. Stacy ran downstairs while I was in shower to pick up some things.

Since we were up early and prepared from the night before, we were at the bus stop well in advance of our “no later than 8:15am plan” Needless to say, we were at MK by like 20 past 8 so we had a small wait. popcorn::

It was freezing out AGAIN so thank goodness we had the hoodies that Stacy had appliquéd for us.

We sat down and waited patiently for rope drop. I was so impressed that I made it. Later on, I talked to DH who was so glad that I made it because he pointed out that I may never again!!!

Almost time!!!

In case you didn’t really believe that Stacy and I were there…I found this pic in another DISer's TR. That’s the back of me and Stacy in our grey matching hoodies (under the tree). I completely stole this picture from their report. Cathy...I'm sorry. I'm a thief. But you guys actually have pics with me IN them!!!

Soon enough the show was underway

Chip/Dale…Good Day Chaps!

The morning show continued with it’s cheerful greeting: Good Mornin, Good Mornin…. (I may not have been to a rope drop before but I’ve seen it enough times of YouTube to know the lyrics :surfweb: )

And then the Big Guy started the countdown to the park opening
5, 4, 3, 2, 1

In a blizzard of confetti, we entered the park (right side entrance). While we were sitting around for 40 minutes, we had come up with a pretty complete plan for the morning. First stop Tomorrowland. We actually…first stop was the customary gaze at the castle.

(note, these are not Photopass pics…those will be coming later)

OK, now onto Tomorrowland

I knew you would make rope drop!

So are you converted now? Are you going to make the family get up for them from now on too?
