Of course we made it to rope drop…I was rooming with Stacy (the woman who never sleeps

). We had set two alarms the night before to make sure that we got up in enough time to get two women ready and still make it to rope drop. However, a full hour and 15 minutes before the alarm went off, Miss Stacy was bouncing out of bed with excitement. In fairness to her…she tried to be quiet.
So she headed into the shower to get ready while lazy Kristine continued to lay in bed and watch the news (we had gotten our clothes out and park bags packed the night before so there wasn’t much to do). The two of us finished making ourselves beautiful for the day and headed out. Stacy ran downstairs while I was in shower to pick up some things.
Since we were up early and prepared from the night before, we were at the bus stop well in advance of our “no later than 8:15am plan” Needless to say, we were at MK by like 20 past 8 so we had a small wait.
It was freezing out AGAIN so thank goodness we had the hoodies that Stacy had appliquéd for us.
We sat down and waited patiently for rope drop. I was so impressed that I made it. Later on, I talked to DH who was so glad that I made it because he pointed out that I may never again!!!
Almost time!!!
In case you didn’t really believe that Stacy and I were there…I found this pic in another DISer's TR. That’s the back of me and Stacy in our grey matching hoodies (under the tree). I completely stole this picture from their report. Cathy...I'm sorry. I'm a thief. But you guys actually have pics with me IN them!!!
Soon enough the show was underway
Finally Casey Junior started coming down the track
Good Morning random train guy!
Good Morning Mickey…but I’m over here…Not there…OVER HERE
Now you see me! Mornin’ Mickey
Mad Hatter…nice to see you!
Chip/Dale…Good Day Chaps!
The morning show continued with it’s cheerful greeting: Good Mornin, Good Mornin…. (I may not have been to a rope drop before but I’ve seen it enough times of YouTube to know the lyrics

)
And then the Big Guy started the countdown to the park opening
5, 4, 3, 2, 1
In a blizzard of confetti, we entered the park (right side entrance). While we were sitting around for 40 minutes, we had come up with a pretty complete plan for the morning. First stop Tomorrowland. We actually…first stop was the customary gaze at the castle.
(note, these are not Photopass pics…those will be coming later)
OK, now onto Tomorrowland
