Severe pricing confusion for DDP

Ok so... this is the problem I am having DH and I are waiting for money to come in to secure DVC spots and get our ressies (on toooooo limited time imo) - however, because we haven't done that we haven't secured our dinning plan. I have been looking at my guides, here and all ears for pricing. AE says 71 for DDP, DIS 78, Guide 71..... So I called disney about their DP and they said the deluxe (Not premium I clarified) was 90 a person per night per adult and 29 for a child!!!!!!!!!!!! We are trying to stay 9 nights Does that sound right? We had everything picked out for a DDP (and I've been making ADRs as I can w/ the exception of dinner shows). We are supposed to get a military discount but the lady could not tell me what the discount is! Her figures were around 3880 for saratoga for a deluxe studio with DDP w/ the discount. Help. I just don't how to get a base price anymore to budget.

I'm not sure when you are going... but we are going in May and we are paying like $76 for the dxdp for an adult. That seems REALLY high. I'd call back and try another CM.

The individual price for the deluxe dining plan in 2011 given on the DVC website (DVC members do not buy packages and purchase the dining plan individually) is $78.99 per night per adult and $21.99 per night per child.

I don't know why people are getting quoted more than the individual prices on packages now, because a lot of them are. There is not supposed to be any seasonal increase on the deluxe plan, and if there is, I'd sort of be surprised if it is an increase of $12 per night per adult.

Wherever the OP is seeing $71...$71.99 per night per adult was the 2010 price.

When you try to book a package, they will not give you a base price for the dining plan. Therefore you don't really know where those prices are coming from.

Thank you! I called and asked for just the base price which she gave me and then gave me the price in a package form. We are going September 16-25th.
