Oh, that fur on his belly is oh, so soft! It's like rubbing a fur coat, except it's warm and purring, LOL

We have two possible Tushar(meaning snow)or Sabu(sanskrit for snow leopard or ghost cat). It doesn't have to be asian. The brown kitty is Taj(4.5 month old)and most current Silver baby pictures(Thurs. will be 2 weeks).

I love the name Sabu. Both are adorable! I've never seen the silver before, I'd love to have one of those. Please keep updating the pictures!

Bengal kittens range in price from $400-$1200 in my experience. They have spots instead of the stripes you would see on a tabby on the street. I am not the OP, but I believe she said the older cat was not even 6 months old. Bengals aren't necessarily larger than other cats, but are usually very muscular. As for temperament, they are like a cross between a cat and a dog and are very smart. Here's some info I found online:

The average Bengal cat weighs between 6 to 8 pounds for a female and 9 to 15 pounds for a male. The Asian Leopard Cat is a small cat ranging in weight between 5 to 7 pounds. Thus, the size and substance of the Bengal comes from the domestic side and not the Asian Leopard Cat as many may assume.


Are Bengals good with kids? How do they interact and respond?

Yes, they are excellent with kids. As with any domestic cat, if Bengals are raised in loving environments with human interaction, they tend to have a special bond with children, and we've frequently seen kids train their Bengals to do tricks such as fetch and "play dead".


Love, love, love my Bengal boy, Pharaoh! He is a big boy at 20 lbs and all muscle. He is inches taller and longer than my other cats too. He walks on a leash and is non-stop movement during the day. At night, he sleeps on my son's loft bed; climbs the ladder every night and sleeps at my son's feet. He "talks" to the bird, to the door, and to us with very unique voice. He knows how to turn on lights and if he had opposible thumbs, I swear he would open doors(jumps up and hits the doorknob with his paws) I wish I had gotten another Bengal when I got my two kittens, but I was worried about the cost. Of course, now one of my rescues is costing me more than my Bengal in medical costs, but that's another story.

He told me he paid $5000 for her and the Bengals get much larger than normal cats, around 50 lbs full grown and live to be around 45 years old! He also told me he had some sort of special Hawaiian cat but I never saw that one, he said she was solid black and he paid a lot of money for her too.

I watch Heroes and I couldn't name a cat Sylar or Gabriel--I'd just keep seeing his face!

I don't want to call him a liar, but I have never heard of a Bengal being 50 lbs or living 45 years! Even the Asian Leopard, which the bengal is bred from is usually 17-20 lbs max. Maybe a serval cat would be 50 lbs, but I doubt any cat lives 45 years at all. I am sure there are bengals and savannahs(serval cat hybrid) that cost $5000 though. Never heard of a Hawaiian breed, but who knows?

first of all he is really gorgeous!

How about Skylar? Sounds sort of like the other name, but prettier.

Or just go with something totally off base. We had a cream sharpei dog we named Bok Choi. It had a musical sound to it. In Chinese it meant white vegetable, but everyone loved the name and he was a very sweet lighthearted dog so it sort of fit.

I also like the name Carmine. Don't know why. Try to get a name you think will fit his personality which is probably just developing.
