A big thanks to the rude man working at the transportation center at Magic Kingdom on the evening of Sept. 21st. You really made our night. Next time someone has a transportation question how about just giving them an answer and leaving the attitude home. All I wanted to know was how to get to the whispering canyon the easiest way. The correct answer was not "I guess you get on a bus." When asked which bus, the correct answer was not "One that's moving." Soooo not the Disney magic we expected.
Also to the man working in the candy shop on Main Street. I specifically asked what we could not use for snack credits in the shop. He said we could use them for practically anything in there. He then watched me shop to spend the 15 credits we had left over at the end of our trip. He waited until we got to the counter and said "None of this stuff is on the snack credits plan." I stood there wondering what, exactly, was on the plan? Did he think I was asking for my health? We were the ONLY people in the store so it's not like he was busy and didn't see. I ended up leaving everything on the counter in my confusion as to where I went wrong.
Now don't get me wrong....I'm not usually like this. It just seemed like a lot of the magic we have been used to was gone this trip. That extra smile or hello or whatever it is that they usually provide was nowhere to be seen. We were all very disappointed and we weren't the only ones. Several families we talked to while waiting in lines said the same things. Very disappointing.
On a positive note, we had a fantastic server at the whispering canyon (9/21) and at the Crystal Palace (9/18). You made the meals so much fun!
