I'm going bonkers. PSs have been set, schedules made, budgets done.....
What does everyone else do on here to pass the time before your trip once this is all done??
I have a Disney planning video, and watch the Travel Channel's Disney specials, but I need more....I'm a junkie!

Get yourself one of the good guidebooks, like the Unofficial Guide, and go through itin depth.. You're bound to find some new info!

Also, message boards are a great place to get a daily shot of Dis!!

I also have a huge collections of ride audio and video that I watch or listen to in my car to get my WDW fix!! ::yes::

I don't know, but I sure could use some help passing the time. We're leaving 6 weeks from tomorrow!!!! It feels like forever....

What do you do if you have read all the guide books, The Unofficial Guide, and Burnbaums, etc. I am driving my poor DH crazy updating him daily on what all of you guys are saying on the DIS. The only thing that keeps me from losing my mind, is reading about other people who have the same problem with waiting for time to pass as I do. :hyper: Having the weather turn warm here really isn't helping with the spring and vacation fever. HELP!

Well, sorry for the shameless plug, but you can come by our site at DisneyWorldTrivia.com, where we have a few WDW crossword puzzles and trivia games online, with more to come very soon.

I always like to see if i can learn new WDW info before I go to make my next trip even more enjoyable

(believe me, I just went a few weeks ago and can't wait to go again, too!!) :hyper:

I don't mind your shameless plug at all AKQJ10! :hyper:
I do have the 100 Years of Magic cd, the three Legacy of Disney cds, and tons of movies on DVD. This seems like the perfect "newbie" for me to do.

......usually several things. I've got a lot of home videos of us at the parks and I watch those. I go to a lot of Disney websites. Got a lot of Disney music CD's and I listen to several of the Disney channels on Live365. :hyper:

............and of course it got so bad that we ran down to Disney for the day this past Saturday.

When I'm out, I have a bunch of CDs in my car with full attractions on the, as well as songs, etc. I love listening to the extinct attraction ride-throughs, too!

I'm having a "Going to Disney" garage sell! Not only does it give me a good excuse to Spring clean and go through old stuff, all the $$ is gonna be extra money for the trip! :Pinkbounc

angey77,

Am from LA also.
St. Bernard right now--may be moving in your neighborhood.
We may be there at the same time.
Pass the time by hanging out around these boards!!!

GO TIGERS!!!!!!

I still have 58 Days 13 Hrs 36 Min I have read all the books, watched the shows and spend every day on the boards. I CAN'T WAIT. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I pass the time by making a packing list, making sure all those summer clothes are washed up, and constantly surfing disney sites! But yea I'm a disney freak!

To be honest, a part of the reason I ended up writing the book was because I cou;dn't get enough WDW when I was at home. I saw all the videos, (still) listen to the attraction ride-throughs and songs in my car, but wanted something more.

Now, even a year and a half later, (and more nights writing until 4:30 a.m. than I care to remember), I still try and get a little WDW fix in every day, whether it be on the message boards, looking for WDW news online, going through some of my old WDW collectibles, or watching one of the Travel Channel videos. (Oh, and trying to devise when I can go again, where to stay, etc.!!) ::yes::

Hey Doc and Family!
You will never believe this, but seven of the eight people in my group are originally from the Parish, including me (we range in age from 32 to 10)!! The only one who isn't is my three-year-old niece who has always lived in Pensacola. The rest of us are all transfers! In fact, our trip mascot is a pic I found online of a Rocky's waitress and I photoshopped Minnie ears on her and put a No Way Jose on her tray to go with the wop salad! Crazy world eh?
Grew up on Dominique!

MY family and I are leaving in 4 weeks.OMG!! I am so excited and my kids are too! My DD9 and DS7 made a paper chain to mark the last 30 days and they take turns breaking one off every morning. This helps them with the countdown.
