Hi everyone!!! 3 weeks until I leave for London! I've decided to Blog the trip and have made my first couple of post. In it, I've included a picture of the t-shirts. Love your blog! Can't wait to meet you and your daughter and hear about your London and Paris trip. We have stayed at the New York Hotel at DP. Nice place. There was a ice skating rink when we were there. Don't know if it is open at this time of the year. (we were there in April '96) Really close to Downtown Disney and some great places to eat too.
Love how you are counting down your sleeps! Bet the last few might be sleepless!
We have 5 sleeps left...till Greece!!! SO much left to do and still have to waste my time at work each day....

Thanks ... We will have to compare notes. Greece is also on my must do list! My friends and I are thinking of going for our 50th birthday, which is getting closer and closer

We have also only done the online check in and given our passport and flight information. As far as excursion paperwork, the only experience we've had on DCL is getting the tickets in our stateroom and then signing papers at our meeting point on board before heading off the ship. DCL may be doing something different in the Med though if you've read that other people have been getting paperwork.

One month today and we'll be boarding the Magic!!!

I've been reading some of the blogs and reviews. I'm a bit worried now about a couple of our excursions we have booked based on some Disboard members reviews, but hopefully DCL will take the comment cards into huge consideration and change some of the issues before it's our turn.

DCL called me 2 days ago and asked me to call them I was thinking maybe a free upgrade or that maybe my excursion was cancelled.....
NO, they wanted my flight information. I had entered it online but they did not have enough spaces for all our flights. I think the site said just list the first and last flights. Well I gave them all the information and asked nicely about a free upgrade why not can't hurt to ask. Got the answer I expected....no, sorry, nice try!

I talked to Disney today, and they told me I wont get my until 14 days out...And I think people are wearing their shirts the first night at the party... anybody know for sure...

I finally bought the shirts! Yes, plan on wearing your shirts, we were planning a cruise meet on deck before the party. Easy to spot the group that way!

Can't wait to go, go, go, go.....

We may wear our shirts once we get on board. We'll be flying from Dulles on 7/6 at 6:55 PM, land in London around 7 AM their time 7/7 and get to Barcelona at 12:30 on 7/7/07. We have transfers to the port. I'm sure we'll be wanting a clean shirt on by then and will probably put our cruise shirts on. I doubt we'll get our luggage until the afternoon, so we'll pack them in our carry ons. I believe the Sail Away party is at 10PM and according to a few trip reports and blogs I've read from recent/current Med cruises, those of us with late dining willl be cutting it close to meet before the sail away. Is everyone with late dining wearing their shirts to dinner? We bought a couple of cruise shirts each so we'll probably wear them around the ship on sea days too.

I was planning on wearing my shirt for the cast-away but party but forgot I had late dining! I may have to do a quick change as I do like to dress for dinner -- call me silly but I am not used to being waited on so I like to dress the part! I can't believe it is getting so close! I just wish July would hurry up!

We also enjoy dressing up for dinner since we rarely all dress up at once except for holidays and church. I think we'll stick with wearing our cruise shirts around the ship until dinner, and then change back into them after dinner if we have the time (as long as we have our luggage in time for dinner!)

Maybe we could plan a get together on another sea day afternoon too? Anyone up for that? That way if things don't work out the 1st night for late dining folks, we can still have a chance to meet up.

Is the list of people on page one of the thread up-to-date? I just want the most current one to print and take. We leave on Tuesday and unless I find a computer to use in Greece I will be out of contact until dinner on July 6th. I am not taking my lap top on this trip....

Hi All - based on what I've been reading in blogs and on the boards, we decided to change our Villefrance excursion from "Cannes, Grasse and St. Paul" to "Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze." I saw Eze on the Travel Channel a couple of months ago and it looks amazing, so I'm really looking forward to that part of the excursion.

DH and I started "exercising" again in preparation for the excursions, particularly the Mt. Vesuvius hike! We're up to 4 miles a day at a pretty good clip. Today, DS took me to a state park that had a fairly strenuous hiking trail deep in the woods. Ummm, yeah - let's just say I need to do some more training before we get to Naples!!

Denise - have a WONDERFUL trip! We're looking forward to meeting you at dinner on the 6th!

I can hardly believe we're down to 4 weeks from today until embarkation!

Perhaps after a couple of stops and a chance to find some fun Italian wine, we could gather in the afternoon on a day at sea in the middle or end of the cruise for a little wine tasting? We had a great Brunello last night, can't wait for Italy!!!!
