Keep checking! Its our fav restaurant in all of WDW, and I cant even count how many times I've eaten there, and it's only been open 3 years:rotfl: We were able to get reservations last month, and thats summer...Keep trying for sure..Its not normal for them to not have anything:confused3 Try lunch instead? maybe you'll get a seat by the window and can watch the animals:goodvibes
And if by some weird circumstance nothing is avail, see if there is seating @ the bar when you get there, same menu @ in the dining room.

I did try lunch too. I wonder if they are going to remodel the restaurant or something in January? I will keep trying:thumbsup2

Good morning, Js & Ks! :sunny:

It only went to 102 yesterday. But mother Nature wasn't done with us yet... we had a powerful line of thunderstorms fly through here last night. It was accompanied by either a powerful downburst or a tornado. Buildings were destroyed and there were some injuries. Enough, already!

Oh my goodness! I woke up to rain on the ground but have no idea if anything else happened. I hope nothing else is still brewing.

Afternoon J's & K's!!!

Hope all is well with everyone!!! Hope everyone stays cool this week!!! :flower3:

Every year we have our longest Disney trip in January for my birthday, and we always stay at AKL. Next year we decided on AoA because we'd both been really excited to try out the new resort. But the more and more I thought about it, the more I realized we'd be super homesick and miss the wonderful rooms, wonderful food, wonderful castmembers, and wonderful activities. So we'll be back at AKL in January 2013! pixiedust: We're going to leave the AoA trial for a quick weekend away sometime. AKL is home to us!

sounds like a great plan to me!

How are you and Fran doing?

Thanks for asking, we're hanging in there. She has to get an infusion of antibiotics every day at the hospital, so it makes days like today when she has to see the wound Doctor as well, very long at the hospital. We'll see after her Doctor visit today how things are doing, she had a small set back last week. Another hole opened up, and that was what the last surgery was for, was to get everything out of there, so they are perplexed as to what happened.

It's never good when the docs are perplexed. I hope they figure out what's going on very quickly. I'm very curious what he says at the appointment.

So sorry to hear about fran. Prayers coming your way...

Please let me know if I can do anything to help...

Evidently the infection is down to her tendon. I know this set in because she got her infusion of arthritis drugs last month. Basically that drug is like a nuclear bomb to your immune system. Every little bit of fighting power she had was wiped out with the Actemera, and the MRSA was waiting to swoop in.

They took a culture of her tendon to find out if something besides the germs are at work in there. For the next week me, Alison, is in charge of her wound care. I never could have dine this three months ago! :faint:

...yeah - keep us posted.

Thanks Kim, see above.

Good Morning to all the J's and K's. :beach:

Yes I am really up this early today. :) We have a lot to do. We are hosting a breakfast meeting for our church group who help us do vacation bible school. It is our start off of a very busy time next week. But is so much fun and the kids are just great to be with.

DH told me last night that he wanted to have a discussion about our September/October trip today. Soooo maybe I will learn about the surprise???? :upsidedow I really hope so...

Hope everyone has a great day today! Stay cool and drink a lot of non-alcholic liquids. :rolleyes1

Ann
