Well I have a small update for everyone in our never-ending book/cancel/book/cancel escapades. We've decided to rebook the trip where we are taking Arline to WDW for late January early February next year. After reading some live TRs about how awful and hot the weather was in Florida the weekend we were supposed to be there, coupled with the fact that I am really really really really really hoping that the DCA Food and Wine Festival comes back next year; we want to be in town from April until June so that I have the option of being a crazy person who arrives at park opening and sits and waits for Robert Irvine and any other Celebrity Chef I want to see!

The other thing is that since my points went into holding by canceling the day before, I wouldn't mind saving a bit and going in the economical points season. The other thing is that we were only going to spend three nights at Kidani this past trip, and I've decided that I am going to sneak it into four nights. We wouldn't have been able to do everything we wanted to do.

I'm just going to wait until my 7 month window to book the trip because I don't want to futz with booking at BCV, VWL and SSR for five weeks and then changing. We'll book the airfare later, so no biggie. I'm just happy that we have a plan in place. I just hope our streak of canceling trips changes. If you really think about this, with the two previous Arline trips we had to cancel, this has been four trips now in a three year period. I just wasn't on the DIS at that time to complain about it!

You gals are all so cool!!!!! I just hope that once I book it, this time we can do it, we've had three trips with Arline ADRs booked and everything and had to cancel. She's been such a good sport, but we REALLY do want to take her. It's just sad that medical issues keep popping up and spoiling things!

Thanks for this - I knew DVC fills up fast, but I had no idea it was that far in advance! As we don't yet know the dates for EEC next year yet, I'm thinking we'll be better off looking for a room code - though I so want a value studio at AKL now....

Peter Noone was great -- he never disappoints!

He said he was "supposed to mention the Tables In Wonderland crowd" and when he did, our 2 rows went wild -- so he came down to our row and had a little fun with us! (Sure wish I had recorded that whole thing! )
