You're all so sweet and have a lot more faith in my than I do! I'm working overdrive on my PTR for this upcoming trip just to give me something to look forward to. I can just see the TR and discussing which resort is better for dressing wounds! I won't need to bring her bathing suit on this trip!

I spoke too soon!

The Home health nurse just left. He trained me in how to clean the wound reapply some sort of debriding ointment and redress the wounds. It's like she has two holes on either side of her leg akin to if you had removed the pit of a nectarine! I almost passed out being trained on it, I don't know WHAT or HOW I am going to actually be able to do it!

Hooking up the bag for the IV and flushing the IV injection thing last fall was enough of a test, now this!

I'm sure that you will do what you have to do.

Good evening, Js & Ks!

Thanks, everyone! We are back! The trip went well. Bob and his Dad enjoyed two nice visits and we also got to see his Aunt Marge, cousin and her family and an old boyhood friend. It was good for him and I loved watching him realize that he can communicate just fine with those who are willing to listen to him.

Uh, oh -- boards r-e-a-l-l-y slow again. I saw a message that they are doing maintenance on new servers. I hope these new servers will fix the recent problems (although this seems to be a recurring theme several times a year ).
