Obviously I can not keep up with your hilarity, but I did book my trip for February. We are at Kidani from Feb 3-7 and BLT tthe 7-11th, at least I think that's what I booked. We have a Savannah view at Kidani and a Lake view at BLT. On our last trip we had a TP view, but I just couldn't justify the points, especially since 300 went into holding from thus last trip. We blew 97 of them and are using 130 in a couple weeks. We will probably end up blowing the last 70, so if anyone is looking to make a trip before Sept 1 and wants to make me an offer, go for it!

We had a lake view in 2010 and loved it. With a theme park view you see mainly parking lot with the castle and /or Space Mountain in the distance. Make sure that you watch the fireworks from the observation deck outside the Top of the World Lounge at least once. Thanks for reminding me of that. I need to make sure our ADRs don't keep us out of the resort at fireworks and water pageant times. We should do our night that we cook in the room at BLT, so we have at least one night. I had a lake view in 2011 and we could still see the castle and fireworks from our balcony.

YAY!!!!! I hope these are your def. dates - we'll be there the 9th - 16th, we are at the Poly the first 2 nights then move over to BLT. I hope we get to meet up!!!
OHH and if you're interested, Be Our Guest Restaurant will be open then, I'm waiting for ADR's to open up, we def. want to try dinner there!!

We only booked the trip 20 days ago and we got all the ADR's we wanted. I can't wait...Any not to be missed things at AKL?

Ahhh....3 more days until our first stay at AKL. I am so excited! We have been down in Florida for 2 weeks now looking at colleges and we're ending our trip with 6 days at AKL! What a fabulous last minutes trip!!! Just enjoy the atmosphere and of course the animals. There is just so much to do, hard to pick out anything, it's all fabulous. Are any of your ADRs at the resort? Dinner at Jiko is one of my all time favorites. There are viewing areas on the ground level with some wonderful rocking chairs, I really enjoy sitting out there watching the animals.

In 3 weeks I'll be at ALK for the 3rd time!!

I can't wait!

On our previous stays there, we've spent a lot of time at the parks. For this trip, we are staying 10 nights so that we can take advantage of the resort more.

We've used the pool and tried the night vision goggles, but that's about it.
Anyone have any great tips or favorite activities at AKL?

Also, we've booked a Boma for dinner on Sunday. Anyone have favorite foods we should try? I know that the selection rotates. I could also book this dinner for Wednesday. Anyone know if Wednesday or Sunday are better?

I hope three weeks flies by!

I loved Boma's dinner. The one dish I would love to have again was one of their salad, it had some crunchy noodles but I have no idea what it was called. The choices seem never ending, too much to have in one meal. I must say though, that Boma's breakfast tops the cake for me. I know you didn't ask about breakfast but I had to share about the goodness

I also really enjoyed the Cultural Presentations, it was a very nice informative activity.
