A friend is going to Disney and would love to ride SDMT. However, he is 6ft 4. Will he be able to ride? Also, are there better seats to ask for on the ride?

My brother is 6'1 and he was able to ride. He may have been somewhat uncomfortable but wanted to get right back on!

He should be able to ride, but it will likely be a tight fit. It will be a bit easier if he has a longer torso; but if he is particularly long legged, he'll likely find his knees pressed up against the seat in front of him.

My hubby is 6'8" tall and skinny, former basketball player. Our daughters are tall too. They all hated it as its a very tight fit. I'm the shrimp, 5'3" on a good day and what I didn't like was the seat bottoms seem molded so it just felt weird.

I am 6ft and my brother is about 6' 3" and we ride in the same car with no issues. A little cramped but your friend should be fine.

Except for minimum height requirements, there's no other height restrictions at Disney World. There are also no weight restrictions either.

I was there in December and rode it. I am 6'4". There is plenty of leg room. However, unless you are skinny as a rail- and that is not an exaggeration, at least not by much- your legs will be crushed once the lap bar comes down (it's a U-shaped bar, I believe the width is 13"). I had marks on the outside of my thighs right above the knee, and it legitimately hurt to be on the ride. Add the jostling and the turns, and you will not be a happy camper. Thankfully it's a short ride. I'll be completely honest, it absolutely did not live up to the hype that was built up.

I'm a 6'0 female with long legs and decently sized hips and I wasn't even uncomfortable on the ride. I expected to struggle based on reports here, but followed the advice of not pulling the lap bar all the way down onto my legs and was just fine.

Hubby is 6'9" and was just fine. It's not like you're sitting there for hours.

DH is same height and all legs. We did 7dmt 5 times on last trip and he was okay, tight but okay.

I'm 6'4 and not a stick, I'm fine with the ride. My legs are really close to where the restraint wouldn't fit over them to close though. it's not going to be a shorter skinny comfortable but I enjoyed it and fit.

I am 6'4" and fit in fine. But, man, Disney does an amazing job on all their coasters making me feel like I am juuuuuuust going to make it thru their tunnels without losing my head.

Yes, my hisband is 6'6" and he rides it fine. Other rides there are uncomfortable but he still rides them.

My husband thinks space mountain is so much more uncomfortable to ride as a tall guy. He actually won't ride it anymore.
