Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP+ Opening

That should all have been done before the media day.

"Here's our brand new kiddie coaster, take lots of pictures and video, post it all on the internet, tell your friends, but uh, sorry, you can't ride it for weeks yet." :badpc:

I agree, It seems weird to have this big event and they tell people it is not open yet. I have been reading on this site that past soft open take some time before they officially open, but they were not for rides that had as much hoop-la as this… Right????

I remember the opening of Star Tours and it was in soft opening for weeks. Hoopla grand opening day was the official opening and it stayed that way...

Does anyone recommend Fast pass + for this ride or Rope Drop and ride first thing in the morning?

I guess if you can be there early enough and the RD wait isn't bad I would do that but if not definitely try for that FP.

After seeing this....I no longer care that it wont be open when we go lol

I'm excited to be able to sleep in, get to MK around 10am and just walk right on this ride. Should be a breeze....

Ok, I actually watched the POV video...

I think it looks pretty good! I like how smooth the ride looks at the beginning getting in and out of the turns, and how it tilts and weaves back and forth at the end.

Best part will be riding this at night with views of NFL on one side and Cindy's on the other.

Actually, it will probably be VERY popular with huge waits. Many many kids will ride this as their first "real" rollercoaster.

My family will be able to pass on it with no feeling of loss, but anyone with kids age 3-7 are going to really LOVE this ride. Fits in perfectly with stuff like Pooh and Peter Pan and Dumbo.

Wow....that video really makes this long-awaited attraction look exciting (I don't mean thrilling.....just exciting).

No it doesn't. Nevermind.

blogs are reporting its not the full. The second lift hill is missing and the cottage scene. Ride is reported to be 2 minutes long so we are still missing about 30 seconds of it.

While in fantasyland today, the hedges were removed and there were normal ropes up instead! MANY people were standing around, talking with a CM. I wondered if they were going to let some ride, and I overheard the time "after 2:00". It started raining around 3, so I am not sure if they ever sent anyone on it or not, but at least the hedges were definitely gone. We are getting ready to go back, so I will report back if anyone got to ride today...but it is still raining...so not likely.

They are moving them because of the media event going on tomorrow. That's all.

If people think the "stampede" (I use that term loosely) for Anna and Elsa is bad, imagine when SDMT opens and there's running to that and A&E! Lol!!

I'd try and FP it for sure!! I'm not a fan of running to things at rope drop, and especially something like this that's so new and EVERYONE will be running to it too.
