bfeller is in a very rare mood and feels that bother, Jay, needs to be teased a bit. Oh Jay, we heard that the hula dance was only worth 1 roll of quarters per person.

hulajay.jpg

Betty...just to get you up to speed...Yes, one could say that Jay has been doing the hula around here this week!! Couldn't let ya miss this image!!!
BWAHAHAH!!! Yeah...that's what I was doing...sure...creating a Ya Ya alphabet...yeah! LOL! I have been losing so many posts into cyberspace this week that I decided to type the re-cap in a word document and copy and paste it here...good idea except (obviously:rolleyes: ) some of their stuff looks different when it gets here!!! And I was soooo busy this morning I just left it for ya'll to figure out!!!
And thank you for not telling me I was full of what I thought you were going to say I was full of!!!! :teeth:

Marilyn! Gorgeous afghan!!! I have been meaning to say that all day!

Sherry...Caitlin hemmorhaged (sp?) after her tonsillectomy...didn't want to tell you that before...no need to put that image in your mind. Don't be too quick to introduce new things to Julian...err on the side of caution. Watching your child in that kind of danger chills your heart like nothing else can. You're doing fine with Julian and at this point, with him feeling better, you are gonna have to hold him back. Like I said before...being a Mom is sometimes a very hard thing. Good job on the hugs for his lunch!!!

Jennifer...how was the hike...other than cold??;) Hope your headache is better fast!!!

More of "those" pics tonight??? Sigh.....

Maybe Jay would like it better Jodie if we pasted his head on that picture of hula Santa... :p

I thought you said that every penny count hula boy? So how come you're turning down 3000 of them?

Someone mentioned that there were pictures posted and since I was an absent Ya Ya, does anyone happen to know around what page(give or take 5 pages) that the pictures were posted on?

Jay in the hula skirt is a vision. Notice I didn't use an adjective.

It is very cold here also. I think our high today is 24. What is the weather like out there in Ya Ya Land??????

Slowly starting to ketchup.

Arrrrrrrgh. Im begining to look like a reverse skunk.

Karen

ROFL. Oh, that would never happen to me. You see, I am a NATURAL blonde.....and even at my age, I don't need to dye my hair. No grey. Never. Ever. (You want to buy an island baby:smooth: )

(3) a charming trait or accomplishment.

That is sooooo true Kim. A charming twit. :o Oh, excuse me, that says TRAIT! :o Oh my, sorry for the mistake. I just thought.....

Bonnie is somewhat afraid of what her mail will bring in the next week

Be afraid, be verrrrry afraid.

Remember - I had to stand out in the rain for almost an hour because you said you couldn't hear the doorbell over the sound of the TV and the pouring rain..... You SEEMED to be contrite.

Oh no, remember Pam. That was all a misunderstanding on your part. You know I would never, ever leave you standing out in the rain like that. I soooo looked forward to the stew you were bringing dear. (and I will never forget the story that went with that ROFLMBO remembering that). Little o' me contrite? ;)

Marilyn!!! That's the sweetest...my tank girl image of you is just crumbling you and that June Cleaver house

Jeannie dear. Remember I told you...I walk around the house all day with a housedress and apron on. Hugh, Wally and Little Beave are still fine and happily living in my house. :p Just because I change into tight leather pants, a shirt and leather vest and Dingo boots before I drive the tank doesn't mean I am not June-like at all times.

Be back in a few for more ketchup. Have to start dinner.

Bonnie!!! BWahahahah!!!! Jay might find hula Santa to be a little.....oooo don't say it Jodie....a little....oooo I can't do it....a little....biting my lip here....ok can't do it, so another word would be "restrictive"!! :smooth:

I forgot who asked if my DD, Allison, really has green hair, but the answer is not really, but when she was with Jennifer's kids this past summer while on their way to the virtual Camp Nativetxn she and both of Jennifer's girls dyed their hair. One of the pre Ya Ya adventures. Actually, that is when I really started chatting with Jennifer. What a hoot!!!

I am going to seeChicago tonight with a GF, so I will be disappearing in about 15 minutes. If I don't get a chance to get back, everyone have a great night.

Hey Ya-Ya's!!!
:D :D

I'm gonna need to be here hanging with my Ya-Ya friends tonight! DD is having a sleep-over:eek: I'll have four 13 year old giggly, loud girls here & as we all know....No good can come of that!!!
Actually, they are all really good kids & I'm glad my DD has such a nice group of friends....just sometimes they're a bit silly
looney.gif
like we all were at that age and occasionally I'm a bit silly now!!!!! okay...okay...more than occasionally ;)
I had to laugh at the way DD asked about having the sleep over....she said "We need to study for our science test on Monday and the best way to do that would be a sleep over" hee-hee does she think I'm that stupid????
icon5.gif

She asked me to make a layered Mexican dip for them and I suspect they'll be a lot more eating
bandit.gif
and chatting than studying!!!!

Oh my gosh ya'll! A friend just sent this to me and I immediately thought of ya'll!!!

Dear Lord,
>
> Every single evening
> As I'm lying here in bed,
> This tiny little Prayer
> Keeps running through my head.
>
> God bless all my family
> Wherever they may be,
> Keep them warm and safe from harm
> For they're so close to me.
>
> And God, there is one more thing
> I wish that you could do,
> Hope you don't mind me asking
> Please bless my computer too.
>
> Now I know that it's unusual
> To Bless a motherboard,
> But listen just a second
> While I explain it to you, Lord.
>
> You see that little metal box
> Holds more than odds and ends,
> Inside those small compartments
> Rest so many of my friends.
>
> I know so much about them
> By the kindness that they give,
> And this little scrap of metal
> Takes me in to where they live.
>
> By faith is how I know them
> Much the same as you,
> We share in what life brings us
> And from that our friendships grew.
>
> Please take an extra minute
> From your duties up above,
> To bless those in my address book
> That's filled with so much love.
>
> Wherever else this prayer may reach
> To each and every friend,
> Bless each e-mail inbox
> And each person who hits send.
>
> When you update your Heavenly list
> On your own CD-ROM,
> Bless everyone who says this prayer
> Sent up to GOD.com.
>
> AMEN
>

bfeller-Have a great time & let us know how it was!!

Jodie, I love that prayer. Once I get a printer working, then I am definitely printing that one.

Well, the time is coming near for me to head out the door. I will miss you all. I hope that the movie is good also. Will give my review later.

Well, everyone, thanks for the warm welcome, and safe haven.

Kejoda--lol He who must not be named, our very own CB Voldemort.

Who knew a little innocent Thank You post from me would stir up such a brouhaha.

I will freely admit, I have not gone back and read the 1st 100 pages, but I keep seeing references to a Ya Ya meet? For real? When? Where? What do I bring?

Well we are home from the game. My DS's team lost but by only a couple of points. They tried really hard. Dh is feeling better. I think he is getting migrains again and thats whats causing the nausea. He ate dinner and says he feels better tummy wise. Hopefully he will be all better tomorrow and I can go get my hair done.

Marilyn,
Ahhhhh ......... yes, my trip to your place with the flying pig!!;)

Deb,
Not sure when and where the YaYa meet will be - somewhere around Cedar Point??

Betty,
My DD is just a Junior but she has dance recital, etc. in June. DS might be going on a canoeing trip over Memorial day and he and DH will be going Mid-June with the Scouts on a whitewater rafting/rapelling trip.

Jodie,
I just love that prayer!!!:D

One of the Scout Mom's called me and said that another Scout showed up with no food, so my DS asked if I could make a foil pack and bring it down..... so I fix in and portage across the creek bridge, up the snowy trail, etc., etc. and the darn kid decided he didn't want to camp and left! Since it was deer meat, the other Scouts gladly took the foil pack off my hands. They are doing great - it got up to 17º today. They are all warm and were happy that they took second place in the snowshoe race event. DH is going down to camp tonight.

Pam

Still ketchuping up.

make that two

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hope you get to go Jay! Keep shopping. You'll find something! (Marilyn checks on her quarters in the freezer....yeah, nice and cold for later on :smooth: :p ) Oh, and I love the "schools" you went to to learn math. :p DS would have loved going to school with you! ;)

I am sure that Pam will need some time to prepare the varment stew for the party.

Pam has a caterer....Have Roadkill Will Scrape Gourmet. They make all types of fabulous roadkill foods for parties....raccoon shis-kabobs, roadkill livers with water chestnuts, rabbit stew, possum caserole.....lots of good stuff for her parties.

Have fun at the movies Sherry.

Betty....ya sure he is worth a whole role of quarters?? I didn't see those hips bumping things off the deck. THROW THOSE HIPS AROUND JAY!

Thanks for the compliments on the afghan you guys. It is truly a labor of love. Really enjoy doing it.

Sure - I have a roadkill caterer - who wants the phone number?? Make sure you tell them I referred them as I get a discount!!

Phew - I stink like woodsmoke! The smoke was blowing right into my face and now my hair reeks of the stuff!

Pam

Laura

LOL. DS used to come up with stuff like that when asking to sleep over at someone's house, although, we were the ones who usually had the kids over...which was fine with us.

Pam, you are truly a stellar Mom. {{HUGS]}} to you. And to DS also for being concerned about his fellow scouts. Great kid ya have there.

Jodie, don't know what else to say about your prayer except it definately brought tears to my eyes. I am definately printing that one out and hanging it by my computer. Thanks sweetie.

Betty! I want to see that soooo badly. Please give a review. And have tons of fun. And I will print out Jodie's prayer for you and mail it to you on Monday.

Pam

I'll take the phone number of your caterer just in case I ever have a YaYa bar-b-que at my house.

Jennifer, hope your headache goes away real quick-like.

Well YaYa's, going to finish cooking my dinner (I have a great comfort food recipe for ya'all. It is super cold here today, so making this recipe, fire in the fireplace tonite and crocheting cuddled up on the couch in the family room).

If I don't get back tonite, have a great evening YaYa's

Marilyn if you keep going on like that I'm going to need CPR. Its a good thing we have nurses around here!:p

Evening, everyone! Thank you for ONLY posting 5 pages while I was out.

I was very good--I did not go to the mall and look for charms. I wanted to, but I resisted. There's always tomorrow!!!

Hi Jay!! Nice to see you again!! I stopped at the bank and picked up a couple of rolls of quarters. Really enjoyed all that swishing and swaying you were doing and thought I better ante up like the other ladies. They should be well chilled in another hour or so..........In the meantime, hope you feel better real soon.

Marilyn, I love the afghan and the pink is really striking! I think I just might have to choose the green room when I come to visit just so I can snuggle under such a pretty cover!

Pam, you are such a good Rescue Ranger!! Too bad the doofus you brought the food for couldn't handle the camping and left. Interesting cologne you're wearing........

Jodie, I loved the prayer/poem. It's soooooo true so I had to print it too. BTW, you spoke so true about Dis Con. DH and I have been saying exactly that all along and we even told the webmasters that when we were there. It's just so sad that some people can't forgive mistakes and are getting all bent out of shape.

Laura, I feel your pain! LOL!!! Earplugs work wonders where those high-pitched girlie giggles and hoots are concerned! Studying science, huh??!! Have another smoothie, I think you'll need it.

Jennifer, have you thawed out yet? Hope you're feeling better real soon.

Missed Betty.......hope she enjoys her movie. Looking forward to her review.

Karen, sorry the boys lost the game but glad you remembered in time to make it! If DH is getting a migrane, then at least you know it's not something he could have passed on to your DS this morning. But sorry he's not 100%. Hope you can get to the salon tomorrow--you deserve a little pampering!

Hi again, Debbie! So have you decided to move in or are you still visiting? We can always use a new Ya Ya sister as long as she doesn't steal the cabin boys. Ya gotta have your own, ya know!

Beccy, we have cabin boys to administer any necessary CPR or mouth to mouth, you know! Shall I call Jonathan for you? From what I've seen, he has very nice hands.........:teeth:
