Mine has been busy & fun filled..............been to the only Dis Store in Queensland & it's only about a 1/4 full of goodies. They are shutting their doors & pulling out of Australia

This was our very first visit there as we had no idea it was there before. We got a couple of things, but nothing like I had hoped to get

It STINKS!!!! I love the Dis Store bags too. We visited our very first Dis Store in September in Hollywood & it was GREAT!!!

Why oh why don't we have one over here

Goal for today....clean out the kids toy room to make room for Jodie's bowflex machine!!!!! Today, the toy room becomes the weight room....WOOHOOOO!!!!! Well...I guess it won't really become a weight room until the dang thing gets here...but you know what I mean!!

...but we're now going to WDW in December! We were in the car on the way to book Gran Canaria when Roland said he'd changed his mind! He said he wasn't sure whether we'd enjoy the places we've been looking at as we're not lazing by the pool/beach types. So where did he think we'd enjoy? How about WDW for the Christmas things? Would I mind going this year instead? No, I wouldn't mind!!! I just can't stop smiling! So I'm going ya yas, I'm going to WDW this year!!!!!
p.s. Michele, you've got to get that charm! Bonnie - I love that one best of all I think!

CAROL!!!! That's fantastic news that you are coming to WDW after all!!! When, when, when in December?!! Dh and I are tentatively planning to be there Dec. 11-14 so we can have our dose of Disney Christmas.

Jeannie, I'm so sorry your date last night was such a bummer. At least it was only 5 hours. Today is another day and the Ya Yas are here to play!!

Bonnie, where did you find that Mickey/Minnie double charm??!! That is just soooo precious!! When we were dating, DH would always send me emails with pix of Mickey & Minnie in romatic poses like that.

Marilyn, sorry you lost your post. Same thing happened to me the other night. I was soooooooo ticked. Daggone board has been hanging up too much in the last few days.

So, have any of you heard the latest on the Dis Con II fiasco??!!! We were all promised refunds when they decided to cancel the majority of the convention events, which was back at the end of November. Many people were really upset, and understandably so, over not being able to get their refunds before actually going to WDW. We finally got our refund check this past Tuesday and it hadn't even been filled out completely! The line where you write out the amount of the check in words was completely blank!! Luckily, we had a blue ink pen that matched pretty good so we filled it in and the bank took it just fine. Yesterday, we find out that PatinMN's refund check bounced!!! I can't believe it!! I understand the cancellation and all, but the way this whole thing was handled leaves a great deal to be desired! Some people haven't even got their checks yet, either! I'm afraid some really great people are going to leave our Dis family over this. So very sad.
