Someone just shoot me now. Dh is SICK!!! He said his head is aching, his stomach is upset and his knee is killing him. I DONT need the stomach flu in the house AGAIN. What does he do this morning but let Patrick lay down with him for an extended period of time!!!! Where was his head??? Thats all I need is two of them getting sick!! I didnt get it before and I dont want it this time. I dont need this on top of my already rotten stomach situation.

Hi, Sherry! Our Dis Con check has posted to our account, but it takes several days to get back to the issuing bank to clear. I figure, if it's going to bounce, we should know by Wednesday. For sure, I have no intention of using the money until I know for sure!!! So when are you going to WDW in Dec.? We're only tentative because it all depends on the Ya Ya meet and the other WDW trip we're planning.

Karen, I'm so sorry there's another nasty bug at your house! DH obviously WASN'T thinking when he let Patrick lie down with him. None of the men I know seem to understand contagion!! My DH doesn't understand why I have to wash all the throw pillows and cushion covers from the couch after he has slept and sweated all over them during one of his bouts of the sickies!! Shall we call out the Ya Ya Enforcer team on your DH? We have a new supply of Cheetohs at the ready!!
I'm back - boards were so slow last night and I was so cold that I just curled up on the couch with the cat and a blanket and a magazine......

On this New Year's Day she and some of her friends joined the parents of the first group of 4 killed on last New Year's Day for a Memorial at that accident scene. There was an article in last night's paper that the students grades have actually risen in the past year, as have sports and extra curricular activities - as this is the way the HS students have chosen to channel their grief.

Beth I think Cheetos may be in order. I cant believe he did that!!! I didnt realize when he laid down with him that dh was feeling so poorly. Dh insists that he doesnt think its the stomach flu because he doesnt feel the same way he did when he had it. This was also the man though that assured me the last time that he wasnt going to get sick. Arrrrrrrgh. Why cant we get anything like just a little cold or something. Why does it always have to be tummy stuff???

Karen, I'm sorry to hear DH is sick. I hope no one else gets sick.
Beth, Julian is good. He woke up with an ear ache (which is expected) so I gave him Tylenol and he is OK now. He is enjoying getting to finally eat. And, last night, he ate a bowl of rainbow sherbet! LOL After trying all week, he finally eats it.
We are going to the World for Christmas. Right now I think it will be the 20-27, but we are still working on the date we are leaving. We for sure will be at MK on Christmas Day, though.

Marilyn fussed with Jay for producing NO hulas last night and she put her quarters back into the freezer
Jason has been very sick and this Ya Ya wishes to extend heartfelt apologies for giving him so much grief for standing her up at the Ya Ya meet. Feel better Jason¡Kwe miss you.
There was talk of croissants and Krispy Kremes which sent Jodie running to her bike for refuge and Kim running away from the box with a donut in each hand!!! Hee hee!!!

Carol, I hope you enjoy your trip to WDW! I'd love to go back again in December but we will have to see. That's about the only time of year I could afford to go if I went again this year. It also was the perfect time for me to go and so very very relaxing. Of course I'd go the first week of the year so I could be able to go to my in-laws for Christmas
I admit, I gave up on the boards last night too... just wasn't able to get anywhere with them so I played Nintendo while cuddling Cleo and then went to bed
