DL, looooooooooong train ride from Florida. Vegas, never been there, would be willing to go. Branson, no airport. Closest airport is Springfield, then you would have to rent a car and drive to Branson. (DH and I stay at a lovely place outside of Branson). New York...?????. Cedar Point...Hmmm. Mall of America..if I can get there without driving. Beach House...sure, I'll go online and see what is available in Hawaii. What??!!

Almost time to get DD up (I thought my days for that were gone )...and head of for Seattle for a DS day ...well part of a day (he has class at 1:30).

You all decide the date and place for a meet....and if I can make it I will, and if not....well, not everyone will be able to. Too many people to plan around.

Not to burst any bubbles, but I recall the original initiation for the Ya Ya's and I was there. Sorry Shep, you're alone in this ritual this time. You'll understand that I won't be there with the Ya Ya camcorder to document it for the archives. I have, um, other things to attend to. At least during the nekkid dance part anyway. I'll be somewhere else, far, far away. No offense or anything. One tip tho... The Ya Ya's are pretty good tippers, so be prepared. Just watch out for the pranksters with the rolls of nickels.

Hmmm.... a Ya Ya meet.... Vegas is good. A bit of Dis history there too. We could all ride the monorail to/from Ballys to MGM. It's an old Mark IV WDW monorail. I sorta know my way around there a bit. My parents go at least once a year & give me all the tips about the place. Plus I was there in July & had a blast. DL is good, too. Never been there, so that would be lots of fun! Mall of America? Hmmm... a mall... well, a *really* big mall.... Okay, well I'm not much for shopping tho. Just leave me at TDS & I'll hang out there. NYC? I second Kimmy... scary. Branson? Do I have to wear boots? Please say no... please say no... please say no..... Cedar Point? Sounds cool, but I'll have to watch ya'll on the coasters. Don't think my doc will let me ride them. At least if he will, I know DW won't. But they have sooooo many cool ones there..... Beach house? Sounds good to me! WDW is always good too. Especially since that's why we're all here. Course, the words WDW and "low cost" don't always go together! LOL!!

Well.... here's the deal now. Luis was in a small car accident this morning and while he is okay, his car is not. One of those icky icy patches and he jumped the curb going like 5 mph and hit a fire hydrant. So... I will say unless I can drive to the meet and back and spend at most two nights, I doubt I will be going to any Ya Ya meet anytime soon... not until the end of the year anyway. My laptop that I wanted in spring is being pushed off until at least the summer or fall. So there's my story. Keep on planning away though and I'd do my best to be there. I will have to say though that a CP or a KI meet is not one I'd be likely to want to go to... I just am never sure how my back/neck will be and coasters of that magnitude will hurt it.

Goodness, I am just full of bad news... my brother & SIL's cat died yesterday too Not been a fun last three days for my family. So before I get the rest of you down, I'll just hush up.

Now you just zip it girl! Don't you ever think for one minute that we don't want to help you get through rough, icky times. When you are down, you are supposed to come to us for hugs and PD. Sure, we will feel bad if you feel bad or sad, but don't think you are "bringing us down" and then stay away.

Thanks all... I just feel terrible. I haven't been around here much the last two days working on pictures (and by the way they are posted here for those who want to look) and then I come back with that downer sounding post. But I'll stop it because I am pretty sure Marilyn wasn't joking with her threat

Chicago is still going to happen. I just got the okay to take the 17th off so life is good We will just be driving my car. Since we have cars that we bought as new (and are both 2000s) we have them completely covered when it comes to insurance (of course we have the deductible) as we'd be fools not to. But the good thing is he is okay and it really could have been a lot worse had he not been going so slow.

I can do near by trips very easily. Chicago is about the furthest I am willing to go for a weekend and I will do a three hour-one way drive willingly in one day during good weather (most of spring, summer & fall). I did go to Battlecreek, MI and did that in a day but that was the furthest I've done for a day trip, and I don't think I'd do any further than that. So if we want a Toledo area kind of meet, I can do that very easily.

Whoo-Hooo!! I just got a call from Heavenly Treasures! They don't like to ship orders to anything other than the billing address, so they were checking with me if it was OK! I had asked that my bracelet be shipped to me here at work because nobody would be home to accept the package. They assured me it would fit in the mailbox. So I guess my order is on it's way!!!
