Well, we will actually have a football game on this year Did I mention, I REALLY don't like football. I'm sure I can amuse myself with other things.

So....wish the Cougs luck...or I'm going to have a VERY grumpy daughter for the rest of the day (luckily it is a later game) !!

Morning Nancy! I don't like football either.....fortunately we don't have to watch college ball anymore....just professional. Dh is training dd to like it so he has someone to watch with!

Hehehe....I lucked out, DH doesn't like it either. I think DD will be watching alone.
Maybe DS and GF will play a game with us while it is going on.
It starts at 2:00 here and that's the time they are supposed to arrive.
The town that college is in, is so small, that they get really involved in their sports (nothing else to do!!), so DD has become a fan since being there. Oh well, at least it gives her something to do, but she doesn't lose easily!!

My best friend from when I was a kid is coming over today with her DH & 2 daughters. I'm looking forward to visiting with them. We'll eat, drink, chat & hopefully beat the husbands in a few games of euchre

Hi all! I normally would try to catch up first, but I think I'll just pop in and say hi for now.

I didn't go out last night... felt too bad to do it. Had it been more of a small gathering I would have gone but it was a big party going on and I don't think I could have taken it. I'm doing a little better today. Didn't sleep too well last night so I am tired today. I am all runny, but at least my ears don't hurt anymore

It was fun surprising them!! If it weren't for the fact that Paige needs time to prepare for new things we probably would have waited to tell them on the way to the airport. She gets stressed at surprises so we had to tell.

Nancy I am just about to print some disney paper to make links out of. I told Emily we weould countdown just like we do for Christmas.

I might bring him a sandwich later because if I don't do it, I think he might forget to eat He is currently watching the Michigan vs whomever game and we are hoping for another Big Ten win (yes, us Ohioans are rooting for that team up north )

I really had to thank you all again for the good wishes for feeling better. You all really warm my heart and are a great goup of friends! I am blessed to have you all and doubly blessed to have been able to meet so many of you I will have to try to meet more though. So big hugs to you all... I wish each of you all the best that 2003 can bring you

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Everyone!!

It's rainy and dreary here. I didn't get up until 11:00 but then again, I didn't go to bed until 2:30 am as I started to watch Trading Places at 12:30.

DS had 2 friends over last night but then they left at 10:00 pm, DD's BF was over until a little after midnight, MIL came for around an hour earlier in the evening. We had shrimp, pizza, etc., etc. Teen boys played XBox, the rest of us watched movies.

How's everyone's 2003 going so far? Good here...family is down watching the Gator Bowl and I'm about to grab my headphones, portable disc thingy and head to my bike for a little workout.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to Ann and Christine!! I'm sorry to hear that Marilyn made such a mess over at your place... she's a good little tankdork though... I'm sure she'll be right over with a couple of our guys to help clean things up. Hmmm... which two cabin boys should we send?

Jennifer told the girls!! Yay!! What a happy New Year's day surprise for them!! Jennifer, Cam is like Paige... does not like surprises sprung on him. We did that to him once... (Disneyland) he dealt with it, but he wasn't happy about it. It took a lot of the fun out of the trip for all of us... we learned a valuable lesson on that one.

Oh! I feel bad. I missed that it was Beth's anniversary today. I rarely skim... how did I miss this?! Well, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Beth and Dave!! Lots of YaYa anniversaries and birthdays lately!

A 70 yo. ogling YaYa granny! Hee hee! Guess I'm not the only dirty old lady around here. I just learned from my ILs that our little 3 yr. neice is "in love" with figure skater, Timothy Goebel... (sp?) too cute!

Chris is still vegetating in the basement. He is postponing the vacuuming. Carol is right, he doesn't like doing it but does any male really like it?

I picked Allison up this morning around 10:30. Everybody was still sleeping. She took a short nap and then took pictures of science project and ran to get them developed. She is back in bed. I have 25 or so more essays to grade and then will put grades in the grade book. Hopefully, I will finish in time to catch a matinee movie. Mom's need some alone time too.

Jennifer I want to thank you for surprising me with that WDW trip. I was so surprised. I can't wait. Too bad you didn't invite Carol. She does have a sweet smile. (Note to Carol: Jennifer is not taking me either. I just wanted to tease you just a little)

I do think that Cam and Paige do belong together if they both are a little uncomfortable with surprises. Allison is a spur of the moment child, so Cam may be best suited for Paige. Therefore, I am removing Allison from Cam Competition.

I am so glad that the Ohio Bracelet Brat Angel is feeling a bit better. I hope that today is even better. Go Buckeyes!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!

We've done nothing so far this year, but just veg! Slept in until almost 10:30, watched The Wedding Singer (for the gazillionth time! LOL), and the boys & DH are all playing video games.

Supposed to go to inlaws today for dinner, but not sure I'm gonna go. I haven't felt too good the past few days, and don't really feel like getting dressed and going out today. We'll see.

Stayed up until 2 last night playing X-Box w/ the boys. We had alot of fun!
