Im trying to plan my meals for my stay in September but can't find a resource on here that tells me when all the shows and parades are on :confused3

I just want to ensure I don't book anything that will cause me to miss the entertainment.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please :3dglasses

Do you know the park closing times for when you are there? If you do, we can give you an idea of when the Parade and Candleabration will be on, and you could work you restaurant bookings from there?

Elaine

I know they usually post the times etc. on a monthly basis ... which means you probably won't see it until Sept.

Maybe someone has gone at that time and remembers when the parades were then ... they seem to keep to a fairly regular plan??

The only things that are on once a day only, are the OUAD parade, and Candleabration.

All other shows etc are on more than once a day.

Do you think since we are going next month (open until 11) that they will keep the same end parade and fireworks time as this month?

Yes, I would expect the timings to be the same all the way through high summer season.

Well we're off in the second week of september so it's an early closing time of half 7 im led to believe from talking to others who have been in Sep before. The parade I think is at 4.30 - 5 but shows such as the Lion King and the stunt show ( sorry don't know what it's called) I have no idea. Before I book the meals that i really want to do i want to make sure i won't miss something else because of it. I can't find any times yet so im going on others previous experiences

The parks shut at 7pm in September.

oh no, another half hour lost a day! do the restaurants shut at the same time as the park then? and if so that will mean only the hotel restaurants and the village will be open for food then.

Suppose that will mean a bit of a crush unless we eat early :sad2:

Disney village is open till 11pm (i think) but most of the restuarants inside the park wont take bookings after 6pm i think. Never eaten a meal before closing.

Hi,

If the parks close at 7pm (and that sounds about right to me for September) then the parade will be at 4pm, and Candleabration will be at 7pm, and will last about 15-20 minutes. Then there will be the crush to exit the park at that time.

The shows (Lion King, Tarzan, Character Express, in the studios HSM, HSM 2) are on several times a day, throughout the day, so you really don't need to worry about missing those for meals, as if you book lunch you can see all these shows either before or afterwards.

Animagique, Cinemagique, Moteurs show, and Stitch Live are also on every day, all day, so again, you don't need to worry about missing any of those when booking your meals.

The restaurants in the Park and Studios will not take bookings later than one hour before official park closing time (so when you are there, that will be 6pm latest). All the restaurants in the Village will of course be open until well into the late evening, but most of them you can't reserve in advance. You can for Cafe Mickey though, and the Wild West show.

so really to eat in the park i'd have to make bookings for after the parade. still rather early though, I can see us getting hungry again in the evening. maybe a tea before the parade would be better suited so that we can then let it settle during the parade and then get our last rides in before closing.

then we can snack later in the village.

Sounds like a plan to me, thanks for the info, I just need to find out the exact time of the parade, lion king, stunt show and look into others we may want to see that don;t know about yet.

Anyone have any advice on ones not to miss?

Thanks Elaine, you got in there before I finished my post. All that info has been a great help, i'll book my meals that I can then ( such as the character tea party in the plaza ) safe knowing I won't be missing any one of shows.

Are there any restaurants in the studios that are worth a visit, i've only ever seem to have read about the disneyland ones?

Hi,

Think that the Tarzan show is only on during the high season, sorry to disappoint.

Rgds

Andy

Hi Andy,

I don't think thats correct - I saw the Tarzan show in early June this year, and my sister saw it on her last trip to DLRP in late September 2006.

Elaine

I think Tarzan finishes in October/begin on Nov, as Mickey's winter wonderland will start in November
