Set of point never came through?

We purchased DVC 100 pt) in may and the sales told us they will give us an extra set of point since there is a promotion when we bought. Our used years is dec. and I look at my point history on the website and realize that I had 100 point in may, and another 100 pt on dec 1 . The promised extra set of point never came through. Did it happen to any of you? Or I actually understand the concept incorrectly given the used year is Dec instead of May?

Your documents should clearly identify your Use Year, but it sounds as though you have a December Use Year.

When you purchased in May you received all points from the current Use Year at that time - which would have been the December, 2010 Use Year. They tend to make it sound like it is an "extra" set of points, but it is really just the points in the current Use Year. Had you purchased a December Use Year in November, 2011 it would have been the same way and has been that way since DVC began back in 1991 - so you weren't really getting anything "extra".
