I have to say though, jokes about what aliens would say passing by earth are pretty funny right now.

You must be talking about the space object 31/Atlas that looks kind of odd. I think the shape and speed of it is causing some people to think it's alien. We supposedly won't even be able to see it as races by but who knows?
