...... A family of four couldn't seat together for whatever reason. The 2 adj seats were taken by the mother and young toddler daughter. The son and the father was assigned on 2 different rows back to back--1 window seat and another aisle seat on the opposite side. The seats were relatively close but couldn't see each other. The boy was probably 4 or 5 and he was scared. The father asked the woman who sat next the the boy to change seat, very nice and polite. The woman and said to him "you can trust me with him". Her 2 friends were sitting behind her and were quite surprise as well. By change her aisle seat to the father's aisle seat, she would be on the same row as her friends. I couldn't believe it. So, I exchanged seat with the boy. I didn't get to sit with my husband, but it was ok. During the entire flight, I was having conversations with my sister who sat on the opposite aisle seat with that woman between us. Yup, I was quite mean.
I'll say. What did being so nasty accomplish? You sure showed that woman, who was under no obligation to switch seats and may have had a very good reason for not wanting to move. Did you try and humiliate the rest of the passengers as well, all of whom could have volunteered to move? What is wrong with people?
