Same here. I read that they were working on material for season 3 concurrently with season 2, so there would be less of gap between seasons. No word on the topic though.

Haha, I’m going to have to go back and read the thread. My memory of the case is fuzzy now. I know my overall impression was that I wasn’t convinced one way or another of Adnan’s guilt or innocence, but I felt strongly that the evidence shouldn’t have been enough to convict him. I was deeeep down that rabbit hole when the podcast first aired, though.

New DNA results have excluded Adnan as a suspect and he has been formally exonerated.

The two detectives on the case were as corrupt as the rest of the BPD of that era. In addition to Adnan, four other men investigated by Ritz and MacGillivary have had their murder convictions overturned after serving lengthy prison sentences for crimes they didn’t commit.

Jay wasn’t his best friend, FTR. He and Adnan both claim they were more so just acquaintances. And, it was a man named Alonzo Sellers who found and reported the body, not Jay.
