Hi. We just found someone to share a SB cabana with, and I had a few questions.

1) How do we get there? Do we just get to SB on the tram and walk, or is there a place to go check in somewhere on the island?

2) It looks like snorkeling equipment isn't included (but it is for the family cabanas). Is that correct?

TIA!

Yes, you would take the tram to get to Serenity Bay. I honestly can't remember if we checked in at the booth at the second tram stop or if we did when we got to serenity bay. I do know that someone met us at Serenity Bay and took us in a golf cart to our cabana.

You are correct, there is no snorkeling equipment included but there were floats and noodles to use. We really enjoyed having the cabana. I could have stayed there for an entire weekend!

If I am mistaken since it has been a few years since I cabana'd at SB... There is a check-in at SB. When you get off the tram walk towards the rear of the tram, and it is across to the end of the runway on the right. Same check-in for massage cabanas.

There is a cabana check-in booth at the SB tram stop. They will show you to your cabana and explain everything.

On the 3 occasions we have had a SB cabana, we had no problem getting snorkel equipment to use. Just show your cabana bracelet to the attendant at the snorkel equipment stand (over at the family beach).

Do you get that bracelet after you get to the cabana? Or do we get it on the ship?
Asking because we were thinking of stopping and snorkeling on the way to the cabana instead of going back and forth. Either way will be ok, but it's nice to know things in advance.

You get the bracelets in your stateroom the day before. So, you could snorkel before you head over to SB. We enjoyed snorkeling at SB, because it is so much clearer.
