Septemeber AP rates are available!

Kirbsam posted below that his agent got the rate. I saw it on Intercot early this morning after her post. I did not see it in the Sept Code watch, but thought it was my funky old computer not updating the pages.

I changed mine from the general code this morning. Saved another $5 off each night at the Poly. I'm only paying $240 plus tax now!

I was surprised to not see a thread on this too. Good thing I checked the AP site this morning. I see we can't book AP rates on the AP site yet, so I think I'll call for some rates.

I didn't see that these rates were out either. Got an email from my travel agent Karen at Magical Journeys 7:30 this morning letting me know she got me the discount. My rate for a courtyard view at Wilderness Lodge was lowered to $185 a night saving me $585!!

I guess the excitement just isn't there after general codes were released for this time frame. But hey, I saved a whopping $17 more dollars over the general rate! I'm mainly glad to see AP rates continuing to come out.

yes they are available online too. There was not much excitment last year either because lots of folks had booked the free dining package, which was the best deal in town.

They are for 8/27 to 8/30/06 and 9/3-9/30/06. Note that labor day is blacked-out. I wouldn't doubt it if we see Columbus day weekend also blacked out. I thought it strange that it ends on 9/30/06, when value season runs until 10/4/06. There is absolutley no logic this year when it comes to AP releases. So now the wait for October is on and after last year, I'm sure folks are holding their breath for this next release. Will it start the beginning of October? Or will it start after Colombus Day weekend? Or will there be any?

Hmm is it different if you call as opposed to going online? Online for AKL when I'm going (Sep 29 - Oct 7th) only shows Savannah and up room availability. I was hoping for Water or even standard.

It may say that Labor day is blacked-out, but I called and got the rate ($130 for AKL standard view) for September 1-4. I just tried those dates online, too, and lo and behold I got discounted rates online too.

That's good to know. I would've tried too because you never know when there's a computer glitch! That's amazing that you got standard view during a holiday weekend! good for you!!

I spoke to 2 different CM's today and the both advised that they only had Savannah view rooms at the AKL ( I asked for september 26th to october 10th)

I can't get a quote on the AP site. What has everyone gotten? I know Garden view at Poly is 240.00, std. at AKL is 130, WL CTV is 180.00.....

Does anyone know if the cabins are going to be included? It might be neat to go right before October starts. Let's say 9/27-10/3?

The reservation part of the site seems to be down. It just hangs there and hangs there, and then comes back that they are having a technical difficulty. So everybody must be trying to get on there at once, or else they are updating the site with the new rates or something.
