September/October 2007 Code, Discount and Rates Watch

Subscribing. I'm taking one of my daughters and my husband is going with one of our sons in 2 separate trips this Oct., so a good discount would be very welcome!

Just keep watching the boards- when a general discount code comes out, you'll know it! Also- If you look towards the top right of the page, just Under where it says "Welcome rmom50" there is a link called "discounts" if you click on that- it will take you to a page that updates all codes. When a general public code comes out, I'll betcha it'll be on there as well.

I too had the same question, not being AP or FL residents, but I have tried over and over to find the "discount" link - you are referring to the regular WDW site page, yes? When I log in and get my "welcome" I don't see any other link for discounts. Am I doing something wrong? :confused3

I am a newbie here. What do you think the possiblilty of a package discount for end Oct/Nov? We are doing MYW with dining at the Poly. Is it just a dream to think that they will offer a package discount? It seems that AP and FR discounts are more frequent. Please give me your thoughts.:upsidedow

According to the history on Mousesavers in 2004 and in 2006 there were Oct/Nov/Dec codes for Disney Reward cardholders and general public - it lists both room only and package for the code type and they were released toward the beginning of August.
Hopefully it's not an "even year" sort of thing (go to Mousesavers.com and search discount code release date - can't post the link my post count is too low)
This year the FL resident and AP codes that ran through the end of Sept were released a few weeks earlier than last year. Maybe they will release something by the middle of July??? :confused3 Fingers crossed, watching, waiting..........

I just saved almost $700 on my weekend surprise trip to the Poly with my AP rate! That paid for my AP alone :cool1:

I got a great rate at CBR for Labor day and at CSR for my birthday!! I saved about $400!

I am also waiting for discount codes for October 6-14. Kids (age 8 & 5) first trip and I am so excited. A discount will make me more excited.

Ok. I am waiting for a package code or Disney Rewards code. What if one comes out for Oct and my ressies are 10/26 - 11/04. Would it cover all or just certain days? Hopefully something will come out that will cover both. Yeah everone!!:grouphug:

Ok, guys, I am very sorry but if someone could help me out I'd appreciate it. I am greatly confused.

If you can see in my siggy my stay isn't until October but I was looking at the September Florida room only quotes to get ready as that would be what I would qualify for. The DIS seemed to say that the one I would be using (the lastest part of the month) could be used for ANY Deluxe Resort. When I looked on mousesaver.com it had ones listed and mine wasn't there. Then I heard people talking about ANOTHER board that had a different code listed. I am very new and very like huh?

I have a reservation booked for AKL Club Level for three nights. Could anyone tell me if in the past they if this has been a discount offered and maybe how much I would save? I was thinking if I could save a good amount, I MAY add a fourth night. Would my discount go up? And most importantly, will I need to pray my dates are still open and rebook or can it be applied to an exsisting reservation? If I have to rebook, is their a place for me to enter the code online?

Very sorry for all the questions.

Thank you.

I used AP rate and saved $990 for our 11 night stay at Beach Club from late Sept. to early Oct.:cloud9:

I don't have an AP pass, don't want one either since we love the DDP. I am not a FL resident and I didn't get the postcard. Is there any hope for me??? Will there be ANY general public codes??? PLEASE:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

you go to the disneyworld website and in the upper left area there is a button that says "passholder". Once you click that you will get the sign in page. You sign in with your passholder info and it will give you access to the AP website. Once there choose special (usually the first choice) or there is often an icon on the left that you can click to that says resort discounts. Once there, the rest is the same as the regular disney site. Put in your info and see what comes up. Edit as needed to check different dates and resorts. Good luck!

Just wondering, can you get an AP discount online at the passholders page if you already have a reservation and just want to change the rate to a discount rate? Or would I have to call to add it to my existing ressie? Thanks

You need to call for any modifications.

Just bailed on Wilderness Lodge for September. Was set to be there from 9/24 - 9/29 for $1,660...FL Resident special on moderates was too good to pass up - Now staying one extra night 9/23 - 9/29 at Coronado Springs for $668 total. (My one night deposit for WL made months ago covered almost half that already :yay: )

Hopefully soon we will hear about October...we are booked right now at POR from October 14th to the 20th, sure would love an upgrade to a Deluxe!!

Question to people who have gone to MNSSHP...I ordered my tickets months ago (for October 16th and 18th) and I just looked at them the other day and realized that one day the tickets were cheaper then the other...is that normal?!?!?

Yes. I got mine from my TA and she said that this year there are different prices for different nights.

Which nights are cheaper during the time you are going and what is the cheaper cost? When we booked they just quoted us one cost and didn't tell us there was a difference.

We are not doing not so scary but would like to know in case we decide to jump in if a code hits for October.......
