September - Magic Bands?

Hoping for Magicbands for our September stay at Wilderness Lodge. Do you think it will happen?

I switched from CBR to POR today for our trip 9/14-21. The queen beds were the biggest issue, BUT the MB helped sway me to make the jump. No fee charged, and I could instantly set up my Fp+ and Mb's. excited!!

Hi all - Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the BOG tips! I booked lunch for DH and I during our stay!

Also, to help folks figure out the timeline, we customized our MBs Monday evening (8/19) and I got an email this morning (8/21) that they had shipped, and the tracking page said they were delivered by 9:30 this morning! We were SO excited to open them!! I'd post a picture, but I don't have 10 posts yet

Yes thanks from me too! I was able to make lunch reservations at BOG for September 12! So excited!

Though I have to say I'm feeling rather impatient about my customized magic bands I customized on Saturday and still they haven't shipped and I haven't gotten any emails
I'm really hoping to make this trip the best ever! I have a strong feeling my boyfriend is going to propose when we're there.

I am traveling with a party of 6 and staying with DVC points at Kidani Sept 11-16. I have not been able to find anywhere to customize or order magic bands. We have not yet purchased out park tickets, does that matter? I was able to make Be Our Guest lunch fastpass reservations. Does that mean I've been selected? How do I customize?

According to a CM I talked to today Kidani is not a test for September, we should all start to see October info soon, but for your trip you will not be able to use FP+ or magicbands.

I am not sure how that relates to your BOG lunch test ressie.

Just made fast pass+ selections through oct 1. Is this news. It was to me. I could only book through 9/28 until I checked today.

I'm surprised to see that many people have been able to customize their MB 4-5 weeks in advance. I sent an e-mail to Disney this week about my reservation for AOA october 27th and I've been told that I would know if I've been chosen for the test 17 to 20 days before my vacations!

I heard we can now do advanced check-in 60 days before our reservation (that would be next tuesday for us)... I'm praying to be chosen!

You can't count on being notified. Just keep checking your My Disney Experience account.
I was never notified, but stumbled upon it one day while logging in to MDE.
Customized my bands on the 20th. Showed up at my door this morning (22nd).

My dates are Sept 20th - 30th

Is there anyone that has screen shots of what we should see if we have been selected? It sounds like Kidani is not a test but one can still hope!

Staying at POP on Sept 22 and just happened to check My Disney Experience yesterday and there it was! I went to Customize Magic Bands and it had a little red box in the corner that said 'last day to customize bands". I got to pick out the colors and the names on them. It said they will ship to my house, rather than be at my hotel when I check in. So excited!

Maybe it's a coincidence in my case, but my MB confirmation number is the same as the first of my three reservation numbers....

So my cruise group over on FB has sent me to query the group. There seems to be a number of people staying at BLT (on the cruise group) who can't get them to show up on their account, and since I saw that the Contemporary was on the list of test resorts for Sept- I was wondering if anyone here is actually at BLT in September and got MB's????

Can you only make a quick service reservation at BOG if you are part of the magic band testing? I tried the link but my resort reservation has both letters and number and it doesn't take the letters. I really don't care about the MB but would love to be able to book a QS lunch at BOG for our girls.

You have to have the Magic bands or be eligible for the magic bands to get the fast pass BOG Lunch Reservations. I received mine in the mail a few days ago and they choose people for the bands by resort that you are staying at.

I followed peoples instructions on here to access the page to do the entry for Fast pass for BOG but it wouldnt let me put myreservation number in that has alphabet letters that i received from them. I called and they gave me a different number to use then it let me pick my meals.

Like someone said earlier. It's not the resort resi id. It's a long number linked to your magicband page in MDE. Looks like a dining resi number.
