"And now, the next hurricane season is only two weeks away."



What!!!!!!! I thought hurrican season was late summer early fall? I was not even contemplating a hurricane in June. Oh well, just one more thing to worry about. Although, my neighbor was in Orlando last year when one of the hurricanes hit. THe day after, everyone was leaving Orlando. They decided to stay and went to Disney. THey had a great time and the park was empty. No waits for rides. So, the lesson is, there is always a silver lining.

I'm going Sept 16th -24th. We're staying at Port Orleans. I'm glad u guys are optimistic about the hurricanes!!!! It makes me feel MUCH better. I worry too much...but I'm going to stop...right now!!! I'm sooo excited. It's just me and my parents going this year! See u guys there.

We are from Gulfport, MS and we will be at Disney Sept. 1 - 7 staying at Coronado Springs. I'm trying not to worry about the hurricanes. What ever happens happens. Which flight are you taking out of New Orleans? We haven't gotten our airline tickets yet. Just wondering. Hopefully, we will be able to meet while at Disney. Until then, Bye.

We are staying at Caribbean Beach. We're flying southwest on Flight# 376, so we'll arrive around 9:30 am. The plan so far is to head to Epcot the first day we arrive, then MK on Friday. I'm not sure about the rest of the week, yet.

On a side note, we love to go to the Grand Oasis in Gulfport! I'm trying to get a room for July 4th weekend.

It might be real hard to get a room at the Grand for the 4th of July weekend. But just keep on trying. It's gonna cost alot for the holiday.

We had planned on flying out of Gulfport. The only non-stop flight leaves at 4pm. So I've been checking out non-stop flights leaving out of New Orleans. We don't have any plans for when we get there as of yet. I just gotta start planning what we are gonna do. Well, until later, Bye

My DH and I will be there Sept. 22-25. Staying at the Poly. I too heard the reports about this seasons hurricanes but it has'nt stopped me from buying comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a bathing suit. Hope to see you there

We will be at Pop from Sept 5th-13th!!! We will also be at the pin event!!!

My adult DD and I will be at POP from 9/24 - 10/1. I am so excited. I live in IN and she moved to NC last July. So this is a girls only trip so we can spend a whole week together. My BIL thinks we're crazy. He doesn't understand going to WDW unless you have to go to take your kids. Needless to say, his kids only got to go once when they were little. My kids went several times. Maybe that's why my DD wanted to go there with me now. We have great memories and want to make some new ones. She's a newlywed whose DH is still in school. So I'm treating her. We have tickets to LaNouba. And I'm already planning all the PS's.

As for the hurricanes, I'm not going to worry about them. We went on a cruise last fall and I worried for two months before about whether we would have any problems. Everything went just fine.

I love September vacations. Great weather and low crowds. It doesn't get much better than that.

Rick and I will be there Sept 2 - 6 this year. Last year Frances kept us from our annual Labor Day weekend trip. This year I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I was able to get 14th floor at the CR!

We might have to change our dates to September 26th-October 4th. We would love to do an Illuminations dessert party, but I think the only nights we could would be the 27th or 29th for sure, and possibly the 2nd if we end up changing our dates.
