September 7, 2014 Dream Cruise!

Version 55 of the FE list is up! Broke groups 1 & 2 down into 15 staterooms and group 3 is currently at 13 staterooms. If we get more people, I'll add them to group 3 then start a group 4 if needed. Please review the list & see if I'm missing anything or have any incorrect information.

Still need at least some basic information for the following people and their group: Taura, Jackie & Crystal

Booked this cruise last week for me, DH, and DD (25)! Well, like the commercial says, "I'm too excited to sleep!" Now, I have to wait 60 days! My daughter works at Magic Kingdom and after visiting all the parks on several occasions, I decided it was time to branch out on our Disney adventures. So, here we are! We are all first time cruisers, so I've been in overload reading and learning as much as I can to get the most out my cruising dollars!

Will be going on our first Disney Cruise, and will be bringing our (will be 22mo) qudruplets! Will be 7 of us in all, as we are bringing their paternal grandmother (their 'little mother") with us. We will be in two ajoining rooms with verandahs, so hopefully there will be enough room for us all. Any tips for things to do with the kids or things we must pack are greatly appreciated! We do plan to do the fish extenders, and look forward to seeing everyone!

Hi friends!
Just booked this Cruise a couple days ago for my boyfriend and I. It's his first cruise and my first Disney Cruise. It's been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember to do this. Any sage advice for first time Disney cruisers?

FE & Drink Exchange lists have been updated. Please let me know if I'm missing anything & have all of your information correct. Some people have been able to call DCL and get their stateroom numbers so if you still need yours, you may want to try that :-) These are posted on the Facebook page:

Hi all. We are so excited to join you guys on the dream! My husband and I are traveling with our 13 year old daughter and our soon to be 6 year old son. I would love to join the FE! Let me know what I need to do!

Has anyone booked their excursions for Disney's private island? We know we are doing the water park in Atlantis, but the private island always gets me. We will bring our own snorkels, but is there something else we must do?

I hope everyone has a nice Monday!

Welcome! :welcome:

I think you need to get a hold of tstobb to sign up for the FE. Closing date for the FE is Aug 3 from what I read in a previous post.

If you plan to snorkel on Castaway Cay, you can use your own masks, fins, and snorkels. However, you do need to use a snorkel vest which Disney will provide to you free of charge. All you need to do is go to either of the snorkel gear rental locations and ask, or sometimes the lifeguards have them. I will be spending a part of my day snorkeling around the lagoon, visiting my friends Mickey and Minnie underwater, so maybe I will see you there too. :fish:

Is there a Meet & Greet being planned on FB? I remember seeing it mentioned here at some point, but I haven't seen anything mentioned here recently. If there is a M&G being planned, could someone please post the info here for those of us who do not use FB? Thanks. :thanks:

This is my very first Disney cruise. I just heard about the FE and would love to join. My husband and I will be traveling with our one and two year old! I definitely need advice though because I am a complete rookie!!

If you're on Facebook, come join our page there at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1401595343419931/

If your not on FB, just message me here with your cabin # and everyone's names, ages & genders of the children, favorite characters, if the adults drink & if anyone has any allergies.

Cut-off for signing up for the FE or drink exchange is coming up fast - August 3rd . . .

:cheer2:We got our cruise docs! :cheer2:

Got the ones for this leg of our B2B yesterday and the ones for our second leg today! I can't wait! :jumping1:

I need to get going on my door magnets. I like to have a couple of new magnets each time we cruise. Pretty soon we will need a bigger door!:joker:

FISH EXTENDER DEADLINE IS TOMORROW!

If you're not already signed up, please let me know as soon as possible to be added :-)

I'm so excited, I just can't stand it! I see on FB many have received their documents...I'm hoping mine come today. My FE is made, and I'm working on the gifts. I just can't wait for this Magical vacation. Has a meet & greet been arranged? This is my first Disney cruise, so not sure when or where to suggest.

Hi there! I'm new to the group. Had no idea meet up groups existed until today. I'm also new to the world of FE. I'd love to join the FE group (I've also sent a FB request), but I don't have enough posts on Disboards to be able to send a private message so I'll just post the info in here. Thanks a bunch!

We are in room 9582. My husband's name is Denis and he will be celebrating his 40th birthday! My name is Laurie (38) and our son is Hunter (3 years old). He is celebrating his first Disney experience. We are heading to WDW for 8 days before the cruise! It is the first Disney Cruise for all of us.

We do drink and there are no allergies in the group!

Hi all! My husband and I will be sailing with you on Sept 7th. This is my 3rd Disney cruise and his second. Our 3 day cruise last year was the best trip we've ever been on so we had to do it again this year. I just got the email about the Halloween info and I'm wondering how popular it is with adults (no kids). I love Halloween but I don't want to be the only adults in costume but then again I don't want to be the only people not in costume. We love to go to the clubs in the evening and it says there will be a Halloween party going on there but does anyone know how adult it is?
I requested to join the FB group (Lacie Marie) so if this info is posted there already I apologize, I have not seen it yet.
Also, we will be at the adult pool and in the bars if anyone is looking for fun people to grab drinks with, that's us ;)

Just added you to the FB group Lacie :-) See you at the pool!

Hey Lacie! We'll be in costume. My 3yo dd will be a little hotdog, and the adults will be the condiments....Daddy=Mustard, Mommy=Ketchup, GodMommy=Relish......Can't wait to sail with ya!
This is our first Disney Cruise, but we've been on many others. I'm getting so excited and just started packaging up my FE gifts. Got a few more things to fiish up. Hubby is already talking about the next cruise to book....he's afraid of the depression that will set in after this one LOL

Thanks for adding me! I'll try not to be the annoying new kid ;)

I'm afraid this might be one of those things that's only ok if you have kids. It's a bit early and my husband wants to skip it but I love Halloween! ;) I just don't want to pull an Elle Woods.

I am traveling with my husband and 25 yo daughter. I am debating on dressing up because after the stress of FE gifts, I don't know if I want to worry about a costume. My daughter's birthday is on Halloween, so she always wants to dress up (even if it's in September). I wish I knew what the prizes were. If it was a cool Disney gift card, then it might motivate me to dress up.
