September 7, 2014 Dream Cruise!

I decided to go with a Disneybound inspired outfit so it's not a costume really but I'm still dressed up. Tiara optional. ;)

Anyone else for the Fish Extender that hasn't signed up yet? I've started a latecomer's list for a new group on the Facebook page. If you're not on Facebook and have already joined, please let me know where I should send the lists

We will be dressing up for both pirate night and Halloween :thumbsup2

Just wondering if anyone who is booked in a interior room, would be willing to let my hubby and myself peek in and see the magical porthole? He is claustrophbic and we'd like to see if it's something that we can do for a next cruise (and save a little money).
I'd be willing to let you see into our navigator's verandah. We have a partially obstructed balcony.

Thanks!
Vicky

Definitely! Our first time in an interior cabin too but don't plan on spending much time there!

We are pretty excited! Can't wait until it is time for us to sail.:yay::yay::yay:

I have most of the planning done. The only thing that isn't finalized yet is a Segway tour in Nassau for DH while I am on the Disney scuba excursion. I am hoping some people sign up for a segway tour so they will have a group DH can join. Castaway Cay will be a beach/snorkel day for us on this leg of our B2B. We were originally planning to jet ski but switched that to our second leg because we got a time slot we liked better.

Now I just have to stop procrastinating on making my new cruise magnets. I have no idea why can't seem to get that done until the day before we cruise. My excuse this time is that I have been wanting to make a Port Canaveral "excursion" when the Dream is sailing so I can get some new pictures to use. I also have to finish my (over)packing list. :teeth:

Yes, we are late signing up - I'll look through here for FB info but please send just in case.

In two weeks, we'll be boarding the ship! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I finished my FE gifts, and have all the door magnets done. We are also going to be a cheesy family of four in BRIGHT green tshirts, with our names on front and personalized Mickey porthole pics on back...As far as costumes, we're going pretty easy. For pirate night, we're all wearing black pants (or shorts) and white t-shirts--I bought cheap red fabric, so we'll tie a red band around our waists. I also picked up eye patches for $1.00 at Hobby Lobby, and a hook for Daddy ($1.99@HL); For Halloween, Devan (my 3yr DD) will have her hotdog costume, and the adults will be wearing shorts with corresponding tshirts (and name pins): red/ketchup; yellow/mustard; green/relish.
I just can't wait, and I know I'm going to want to do everything. The week will go by too fast and I'll have an emotional crash!

Any meet & Greet set up?
Vicky:yay::dance3:

Is ASHLEY, ANDREW, or JOVI LANO (although Jovi Lano is only 1 1/2 yo lol) members of this DISboard? You are listed in Group 1 of the FE, but cabin # is still listed as TBD. Can you let Tony Stobb know your number? With only 2 weeks to go, we're planning out the delivery routes.

Thanks!! I wouldn't want you to miss out on what I've got planned for ya!

Hello... I just recently found out about this forum tonight.... wish I found it sooner :( . Tons of great information and tips. Just wanted to introduce myself . I am a mother of a 2 year old soon to be 3 which is the reason for the cruise. First time traveler on the Disney cruise line. My husband and I are counting down the days and are very excited! !!

WHOO HOO ONE WEEK AWAY!!! There has been discussions over on FB for an informal meet & greet. Sunday 2:30pm at WAVES.

See ya'll on board!!
Vicky, along with Don (my hubby), Devan (our 3yo daughter), and Tammy (my BFF):cool1:

So I just found out about this...we actually just found out we were going on this cruise! My daughter picked this cruise as part of Make A Wish. We are super excited but I'm also feeling super lost. This is our first cruise and I don't even know our cabin number yet! Can we still get in on the fish extender? Anything else I should know? Help please?!!

Awesome that you are going on this cruise! So glad you are joining us. I don't think it is not too late to get in on the fish extender. We have a group set up special for latecomers. You will have to provide your cabin # (when you get it), your names, genders, ages, favorite characters and allergies if any.

There is a ton of info on Facebook. Just look up Disney Dream September 7, 2014.

If you are not on FB, I will try to provide you with updates here. We are doing a meet up on embarkation day at 2:30 at Waves. A special treat will be given to the kids!

How old is your daughter?

Don't see a Segway tour listed on the DCL website - are you booking that directly? Very interested in that :thumbsup2

Yes, booking directly with Segway Nassau http://www.segwaynassau.com/ We have been emailing Lisa and so far it is just my DH, Barry, who is signed up. Lisa said she needs at least 2 people to run a tour, and I will be off scuba diving. Barry willl be thrilled to have some others who want to go segway riding. We have both done a number of segway tours in the past. It really is easy, and a lot of fun. For me, though, it just can't compare with scuba.

We have asked for a tour time between noon and 2 PM, mostly so the timing works with my scuba excursion. I would suggest you get in touch with Lisa through the contact form on the Segway Nassau website. If she doesn't get right back to you I think I do have an email address but I can't get to it on this computer. I can look it up for you tomorrow if necessary.

I see there's a meet and greet at 2:30 at Waves. This is the first I have heard about it since I am not on FB, but I am pretty sure we can be there.

Hello all! My hubby and I will be cruising with our daughters (ages 13, 11, and 4). This is our 2nd Disney cruise. We'd like to participate in the Fish Extender group! How do we sign up?
Amy
