I've never been to DW in September, what are the crowds like?

In the past this time is very quiet...crowdwise. Free dining is being offerred this year during this time which may make it a little busier than usual but it will still be minimal...just watch the tropics!

I usually go during this time of year since the crowds are really low and the weather is warm, although sometimes a bit wet. Last year we went with the free dining and the crowds were still almost nonexistant. The only thing we had to wait for was Soarin'. The only possible downside to the dates you mention is Night of Joy which means that MK will close early for two days. I usually use that early closing as a park hopping day or early evening spent by the pool. Enjoy! :sunny:

Crowds are non-existent and here's why . . . you are gambling with hurricane season. We've planned two trips in Sept. One was fantastic. The other was postponed due to hurricane Jeanne. If you are flexible, that won't matter, but we were taking the kids out of school and didn't want to spend that in a disney resort.

We always go that time of year, we have been during free dining and the buy 4 days get 3 free special a few years back. None of theses specials made it crowded. We have never waited longer than 15 min for any ride during this time.
The only draw back is that is still really hot and humid and the chance of a hurricane.
