I just want to thank a certain someone who made my day today...This person is sending my family shirts for our trip...YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE HOW MUCH THIS MEANT TO ME....I have had such a hard week and got some very bad news that I cannot share yet....too hard to deal with but it had certainly effected this trip to the point that I nearly cancelled it. She is doing this ON HER OWN and NOT as a BIG GIVE... I still am crying over this. I am TRUELY appreciative of the time you are taking having a special needs child yourself to bless both me and my children. You are a true angel. Your email came just when things were looking bleek and brightened up my day!

I will post pictures of the children once they are received.

Thank you just does not seem enough...Like I told you I plan on giving back when we get back to the norm here, it is the very least that I can do.

Joining in to follow along. Eva is just precious! I'm sad to hear you had some bad news, but what a bright point that an angel is sending you some shirts (I bet I know who she is too -- if it's who I'm thinking it might be I have to tell you she is extremely generous )

Sitting on pins and needles...Our wish coordinator was on vacation for the past week, she is calling me any time now with details for Eva's party on the 30th....My daughter Carissa so graciously let us do it then (it is HER 18th Birthday). Carissa amazes me with the selflessness she has shown to Eva. She is her secondary mother in so many ways, this is why we wanted to work in the trip date to include her before she went to college and could not go. Carissa has given up so much of her life including changing schools in her senior year for her sister's well being.

I am blessed that all my children understand what Eva goes through and that there are NO jealousy issues. They drive me CRAZY at times but if they did not then they would not be MY kids!!!

My aunt sews with a lovely group of women who were kind enough to take a custom bib that I had bought and remake these for Eva...In hearing that we were going to Disney they sent this to her today......

We love them they are the only ones that are hard for her to get off and they are super absorbent (flannel or cloth front and anti pill fleece back with plastic snap closure). When I first found them they were custom made and I spent $7 each!!!! She can make me at least 4 for that price!!

What is really nice is having a couple that are Disney for her....You can see how much she loved the Minnie one!!!

So I got an eamil requesting addresses for you MAW presentation party. We just went with Grandma and Grandpa and possibly her Godparents will be there. Other than that we do not know anyone that would be close enough here to ask So we are going with that. Honestly I dont think Eva would care who was there...it will be special no matter what!!

Today we are thanking God that the Federal budget was passed...OUR ONLY INCOME is disability which Eva and I get...I have medical conditions which are still bad but better since I lost 100 lbs last year but this affords me the luxury of being able to stay home and care for Eva. This is also the reason that we moved so far from our family. The cost of living is cheap and I can do everything on my own our budget is tight but we do it. They had said that we would not be effected BUT I worried all the same.

I hope whoever read this is having a wonderful weekend. We are supposed to get a bit of SUN and the temp is actually going to be around 65!!!
