Which hotel pool do you think is the best for little kids 4 and under? Mainly we stay at deluxe resorts so mostly curious about those.

I would say either Poly or Grand Floridian or Samawati Springs at AK…

My favorite moderate splash pad that we've experienced is the POFQ splash pad.

Deluxe, I'd have to go with the Poly. The riviera one was nice, but we were baking in the sun and the Poly didn't seem as terrible based on the angle of the sun in the evenings when we would go there.

At that age, I wouldn't take it into account though, they'll be happy with whatever is there.

Poly is probably the best, but so busy, so I’d say grand Floridian. Although the zero entry sand part of SAB is great.

I vote Poly. SAB at Yacht and Beach is nice, but I think it depends on the age/personality of the kids. I found it stressful when they were little because I worried someone would end up somewhere I couldn’t see them, even with two adults there. Poly has the splash pad and the main pool is just a big pool, so less chance for a kid to wander off. Water and little kids has always stressed me out.

Depending on the age/kid, Poly's splash pad might be a little too much for little kiddos. Mine loved it at ages 4 and 7, but a year earlier, I'm not sure if my youngest would have liked it. Grand Floridian has a cute splash pad, but my vote goes to Saratoga Springs. 2 pools with slides if they are adventurous, the main pool has a mini slide, and both Paddock and Grandstand areas have splash pads (the main pool has a small one, too but it isn't anything special). Grandstand's has an adorable horse racing theme, and Paddock's has kiddie slides. For moderates, we liked Caribbean Beach.

I would suggest looking on YouTube for videos of the pool areas. A lot of vloggers have resort tours, and you could get a good idea of what the pools look like, and see if you think your kids would like it.

Kids are 4 and 1 and the 4 year old isn’t very adventurous. She likes regular slides at a park though.

AKL-Jambo would be one to consider. As mentioned above, the zero entry to the main pool is perfect. They have a very calm water slide. They also have a few things right next to the pool, including a really nice non-water/regular playground area, the flamingo pond (very colorful and noisy!), and an animal viewing area where you can often see giraffe, antelope, etc..... They also have a very shallow, separate 'kiddie' pool, which might work well for part of your stay.

Wherever you decide, enjoy your trip. Sounds like some great memories with the kids!

You probably want the ones that just spray water than moreso than the slide/climbing ones than. The carrieban beach one is very adventurous and a lot of the moderate/deluxe ones have that same similar set ups. The valid ones have the spitting water ones with no slides/climbing.
