Nevermind- I found the answer, not in a tutorial, but right here on the DISboards For anyone else who is wondering, max dimensions are 11" wide by 48" long (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2372269).

I have a quick question for my American friends; I work in kid's tv, and I've promised some people at the studio that I'd look out for some toys or merchandise from our shows while I'm in America, as we don't see much here. We have 2 days of shopping in LA before the cruise, have you got any suggestions for where I might find something like that? Or just toy stores in general? Maybe wal-mart? It's mostly Nickelodeon stuff, Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, Robot and Monster. TIA

Thanks for your encouragement. MIL is progressing well. Much better than expected, and may go to rehab tomorrow. She is blessed with a strong constitution.

Happy labor day to you all -beautiful weather in NE and we are heading to our cottage in Maine for a breather - it has been an intense week - from diagnosis to surgery in less than a week.

So glad your MIL is doing well. It sounds like it was a quick diagnosis and quickly into surgery! That's scary and a lot to digest in such a short time. So glad she is improving.

Agreed! The devil is in the details! As for Charly, she is 1 and recovering nicely (whew).

Our daughter had the same type of surgery when she was younger. Her's was because of reoccurring ear infections. She didn't have a problem with ear infections after her adenoids were removed and tubes placed in the ears. The tubes "removed" themselves years later. I hope your daughter fairs well with the tubes also.

Hello everyone....Happy Labor Day weekend.
We just booked this trip this AM. Never been on a Disney ship although have been on many others. We just wanted to sample the product. Have no children.

I worked at the Mouse House (Disneyland) in college. We as we still like to "play" we have also had Disneyland/ Calif Adv. Passports for many years since it is a quick drive up the freeway.

He was on the Sherman when they hosted the Russian ship Volga for fleet week back in 1990, I think, right before we were transferred overseas. I remember being on board with my dh and trading trinkets with the Russian soldiers. Hats mostly but I vaguely remember Levi's being a topic. We lived on Treasure Island (military housing then), which is an island in the San Francisco Bay, built for the 1939 World's Fair We lived there for many years. We lived there for the Loma Prieta earthquake and when we returned from our duty tour in the UK, we were there for the Northridge earthquake also. A lot of history and memories for us in the Bay area. It's different being a tourist though I love it even more being a tourist

WOW... that's great. What I'm still unclear about is if they enter SF harbor at 8 am or arrive at Pier 80 at 8 am. If you dh wants to find out more, FleetWeek has a FB page you can link to from their website. When I messaged them I received a reply rather quickly.

I've put a huge order in from Target to be posted to my cousin who lives in LA, including some very cute pirate costumes for my daughters!!

Yes, we're flying out from Auckland on the 28th too! (We live on the North Shore.) We're booked on the 7:30pm flight, but we fly standby so there is a chance we will be on the same flight as you!

Ha, Last time we went over my sister had a mini mountain of packages sent to her boyfriend's father's house! Im looking forward to seeing these costumes, pirate night is good fun, especially when you're dressed up! Hope your knee heals quickly!

Just wanted to post a follow up... I went to reserve a private shuttle online but found the price came out higher than I was quoted by email. I emailed them and was told I could reserve by email by replying w/ my flight info and credit card #. I replied w/ all the info except my credit card info and asked them to call me for it (since it's unsafe to send just over email). No reply and it's been over a week now.

I did some more internet searching and have found very little in the way of reviews on them. And the Better Business Bureau says it hasn't received responses to two requests for info (which would improve their rating). They are listed off a San Pedro website but not as being specifically endorsed- looks more just like ad space.

I'm NOT saying they are a bad company but I just wouldn't feel good about hiring them.

Thanks for the heads up. I still need to set a shuttle too, maybe Payless Airport Shuttle ? They had some good reviews and a good price from Long Beach, John Wayne and LAX Airports . If that doesn't work out, I always think of SupperShuttle as a good reliable company.

Tonight... ABC Family is showing Toy Story at 6/7C and Toy Story 2 at 8p/9C and 10p/11C. I know we all have the DVDs, but there's just something about watching it "live" ...I think this will be a fun way to finally tell DD about the secret Pixar theme!!!
