What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Grandbaby #5 was born early this AM and we just got back from saying welcome to the world little one!
No dinner tonight, as we went out to one of our fav seafood restaurants -- after seeing the little nugget for a celebration lunch. Hubs had a chopped wedge salad, large bowl of calm chowder and a local IPA. I had grilled yellowtail with roasted carrots and grilled cauliflower as my sides. Of course we had a nice loaf of crunchy sourdough bread to go with it all. Oh! and I had a glass of sparkling rose. Pink bubbles of course for the new baby girl!

Congrats to you and mom! My DS just got a German shepherd puppy. I feel like that’s as close as I’m gonna get to having a grandchild. I hope it happens someday.

I didn’t end up making the chicken last night so we’ll have that tonight.
Last night we had buffalo chicken lasagna that I pulled out of freezer a couple days ago.
We ended up with 36 in of snow!!! It is insane. My street isn’t plowed yet, and school is canceled again tomorrow. I’m thinking I’m not going back til Monday!

Chicken marsala, mashed potatoes & I won the peas w/pearl onions war again (yeah, me ). I think DH is secretly starting to like them.

Roads by me are ok but since I have the option to wfh I did. We are supposed to get another 3 inches early tomorrow. I’m running out of room for snow ️

I don’t know where they are putting it all? Especially the city I work in struggled on what to do with the 12 in we got last month.
That’s why I don’t think I’ll be back at work until next week.

Kind of fell off the turnip truck with not posting the last few weeks.

Sunday - We had homemade pizzas (OMG!!! IT WAS SO GOOD!!!)
Monday - We had Italian meatballs, carrots (for me since DW doesn't eat veggies) and rice;
Tonight - Chicken fajitas and sweet peas (I also boiled 4 eggs to have 2 for breakfast with some toast each of the next 2 days, and I also made tuna salad after work for lunch tomorrow);
