September 30, 2012 - "To San Francisco and Beyond"

Okay, I have been reading this thread for a while. We have been planning on taking this cruise for about a month when I discovered the $599 deal. We have been saving up since you have to pay in full with the deal and now, when I go to book I can find it on the "specials" page, but when I get to the cruise it costs $791!! NOT $599. I've clicked all the way through to the final booking page and there is nowhere that it even begins to say $599 plus yadda yadda yadda booking fees" or whatever. What am I doing wrong?? This trip is specially budgeted and we cant afford to pay that much more. Anybody have any ideas?

I still see the Special Offer too, but the paragraph does say "from $599 + tax" I'm thinking you should call and talk to DCL directly or call your favorite travel agent (if you don't have one call the one I use, travel-planners.com)

Hope they find the deal for you!

Straight to the strawberry soup in Parrot Cay. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

I have to admit I've been on 4 Disney Cruises and have never tasted the Strawberry soup. I guess I know what's on my list for Day 1 :woohoo:

Thanks for the tip!

Lise

We've been wating weeks and months to step on the Wonder. What is the first thing you'll do when you get on board? :cool1:

I go to guest services and pick out my dates and times for tastings :drinking1 Then we will be off to Parrot Cay for some lunch. I'll be sure to try the strawberry soup that wenuwish is wanting so much.:rotfl:

We got that rate only by booking IGT (inside stateroom restricted)- it's a risk but it was the only way we were ever going to get on a cruise... and we got the travel insurance to cover the worst of scenarios that would force us to cancel. I recommend calling DCL directly or finding a travel agent to look into for you (and watch for the deals next time around if this one doesn't work out for you). Good luck!

I always get a little choked up as we walk on board so I take a minute to take in the splendor of the ship, then head up to Parrot Cay, grab a DOD, and enjoy some strawberry soup

I believe Seamama is right and the $599 rate was for the IGT rooms only. I think those rooms ended up going pretty quickly for this cruise but perhaps the October one still has it available. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Um, so this happened this morning: http://t.co/jqX1Qe8F

If John Lasseter is on our cruise I am going to turn into a huge sobbing fangirl mess, it won't be pretty. Wow.

I am hoping that he is on our cruise too! What a special treat that would be!!!

We were lucky enough on the April 1, 2012 Wonder MR and Richard Sherman was a surprise guest. *Goose pimples!*
