I'm so sorry, everyone. We've been on Disney-mode for the last five weeks (Steph and I took a last minute Dream cruise last month, we took the whole family to WDW last week, then drove out to DL last Sunday for the day), so I haven't had the time to get the FE List done, but it's...finally done.

It's pretty basic. And everyone is allowed to edit it. If I missed something, or if you have a recommendation on adding columns, feel free to throw it out there.

So with all of that said, here it is!

Will there be a cut-off date for the FE exchange sign-up so that we have enough time to make/purchase our items?

Here's what i usually do...it's something to think about.

I usually cut off the list at a month out, but being that a lot of newbies have been wandering to the boards, if anyone wants to join late i will allow it, but i will let them know that most people purchased gifts based on the cut off date's numbers, so they may not receive a gift from all participants. This allows them to still give gifts, and some people purchase extras, say because thy buy in bulk, so it helps balance out and keep most people happy.

I think kids are the most fun to prepare goodies for.

This cracked me up because I am exactly the opposite! I think I'm so worried about giving a tween or teen (or any age kid for that matter) something that is "too young" for them that I struggle with those gifts. I have children so kids are not alien to me, but every kid matures at a different rate.

Anyway, I just found this humorous!

Remember that this weekend will see the 105-day booking window open for any of you Gold Castaway Club members! As I type this, it looks like there are still three family cabanas and one adult beach cabana available. There are also a few "MIA" cabanas, i.e. not listed as available or booked. Palo brunch looks pretty open at the moment.

Ok, false alarm - we're back! Due to work commitments couldn't take the week prior so decided to do the one we originally planned to.

Please add us to the roster and I'll add us to the FE.

This will be our first time on the Dream so will likely stay on the ship in Nassau and explore. Castaway is all about the water!! Going to try to grab a Palo ressie as we loved it last time.

We'll be at WDW for ToT beforehand and a couple days after to relax.

So how many days?

3 months and 2 weeks to go! We checked in and booked excursions for our Sept 22nd cruise last night, now we just have to wait until this weekend for this cruise! I can't wait! We're thinking about Palo brunch...

Ok, false alarm - we're back! Due to work commitments couldn't take the week prior so decided to do the one we originally planned to.

Please add us to the roster and I'll add us to the FE.

This will be our first time on the Dream so will likely stay on the ship in Nassau and explore. Castaway is all about the water!! Going to try to grab a Palo ressie as we loved it last time.

We'll be at WDW for ToT beforehand and a couple days after to relax.

I think I'm going to way one more month to decide on whether or not to have lanyards made, so I will have a more definite number of cruisers. Right now (between our two cruises) we have 64 people. I think I'll be ordering 100 lanyards at this rate, which will be about $150. If we decide to order them, I will probably use them as my FE gift, but they will be for all disboards cruisers and I'll still have a little something for the FE gifts as well.

Clint is bottom fishing on castaway and i'm renting snorkle equipment for the day! We decided to tay on board in Nassau to relax and explore the ship.

ToT = Tower of Terror. It's a 10 mile night race at WDW. Starts at the sports complex and ends at the Studios right by the Tower.

I'll be cancelling our cruise tomorrow . . .after much consideration of where we wanted to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we decided we'd be much more happier on land . . .

Originally we were doing the 4 day Dream then 3 days at WDW, but now we are going to Universal/IOA/Seaworld for 4 days and then 3 days at WDW.
We haven't been to Universal since 1991 and Seaworld 1999! We are really looking forward to it!

Were you able to check in? When our window opened, I was able to book Port Adventures, dining, etc., but I didn't realize that online check-in wouldn't be available for a few more hours.

Sounds like you have a couple of fun activities planned. I think we're going to stay on the ship in Nassau as well, although I'd like to walk down to Arawak Cay for some local grub at Goldie's or Twin Brothers. None of the excursions are appealing to me, though.
