My husband and I will be joining you all on this cruise. It's only our second (in total and DCL) and we'll be celebrating our 20th anniversary.

I would love to join in on an FE exchange (if the group doesn't get too large!)

Hi Everyone! Looks like we will be joining all of you on this cruise. We were originally scheduled to do the 9/27 3 night but decided yesterday to switch to 4 night. (That was fun switching all the reservations around at WDW and cruise)... DW and myself will be celebrating our 15 year anniversary and enjoying 5 days in WDW first and then the cruise!

Look forward to getting to know everyone as we countdown!

Howdy everyone! Sorry i haven't been on the boards-we just got home from cruising with Mickey and hanging out at Disney world!! We just got off the Eastern Caribbean and it was wonderful!

Welcome to everyone who joined while we were gone!

A FE sounds great to me! This will be my 6th (my husband's 7th) cruise with disney and we've done a FE for 5 of our cruises. It's always fun coming back to see what goodies have been left for us. On our most recent cruise, someone gave us a Disney angel-made out of a mickey dish towel! It was super cute!

I am so glad that we are getting some more cruisers & more groups onboard with the FE fun! My kiddos will love that! I'm hoping & praying for smooth sailing cuz my husband & I were just recalling our first cruise 2 years ago (on the Wonder), which i believe also sailed on Sept. 30. we were right amidst a hurricane and the waters were treacherous! we missed Castaway Cay completely because the current was too strong to turn into the channel (so they told us). i was so afraid of capsizing! suprisingly, we decided to try again last year (on the Dream), mid-Sept., and it was just perfect!! So, hopefully this year we'll have good luck like last year!

Our first and last cruise was on the Wonder in April 05 with the kiddos . . .it was right after that rogue wave came crashing in on another ship . . .the first night we were rocking so bad we all skipped dinner and just went to bed.

Hi everyone!!!!! I can't believe it!!! I just booked this cruise for our family of four (Me, DH, DD, 12 and DS, 7) because I can't wait for the cruise I have booked on the Fantasy Oct 2013! It's an illness I tell ya Our kids don't know about either one of them yet!!!

Hi! DH and I are also celebrating our 15th anniversary! We're running the TOT ten miler as well, then relaxing the rest of our vacation away on the Dream! Boy was DD mad when she heard we weren't taking her on this one........

Our kids don't know about either one of them yet!!!

I love to keep these wonderful surprises from my kids till the very last minute! (meaning, as we arrive at the port, surprise!) After the cruise we will be at Disney for 11 nights. we never tell them which resort or anything. the day we begin our vacation, we just wake them up and go! no forewarning! My kids love to be surprised like this! we go to disney every year and always, always fly. this year we have decided to drive so we can visit my aunt and also do Legoland (huge surprise!!). I just hope that the surprise of driving rather than flying won't be too much of an unpleasant surprise for them. DS is 9 and DD will be just 7. The ultra-planner in me already has tons of fun things prepared for the long drive!
Also the ultra-planner in me is itching to start planning gifties for FE exchange on our cruise! I'd love to get more families on board with it and find out ages of kids and favorite characters, so i can plan accordingly. I believe so far there are 3 groups /families that have expressed interest. anyone else?? IKnowDoYou? graciously volunteered to keep track of everyone participating.

I'm excited to see more folks join as well! IKnowDoYou? thank you for keeping track! If you change your mind just let me know--I've done a roll call and FE list for our past 3 cruises, so it's not a problem.

We'll be cruising on the first Galveston sailing the week before this cruise then hopping over to Florida for our "back to back" sailing.

Mamiof2--it's so cool that you guys are able to surprise your kiddos! Wow! 11 nights at Disney sounds like heaven--especially to continue the vacation after cruising!

I'm going to pay off the cruise June 1 . . .we've had our airfare for awhile now . . .I always said, well, if we cancel the cruise then we'd just be enjoying the F&W Festival for a week . . .but then when we went to the F&G Festival in April, we booked the bounce back for October 4 - 6, so now my arrival September 30th wouldn't be covered with a room, soooo I guess we'll definitely be on the cruise .. .


When can I start making excursion ressies? I already put a few on my saved favorites . . .

I believe that we are doing the Sea Lion Encounter in Nassau and the snorkling on CC.

I'm excited! This will be our 3rd Bahamas cruise andbour 4th stop at castaway, so we're not going to do any excursions. We'll get off and walk around Nassau for a little bit, but then it'll be back to the boat the enjoy the aquaduck. At Castaway we're going to hit up Pelican Plunge and then probably rent some snorkle gear in the lagoon.

Hi all,
My husband and I are sailing too! It will be our first Disney Cruise!! We did our very first cruise early this year (with a much 'older' cruise line) and truthfully, didn't have the best time. We know that Disney will be amazing and can't wait to experience a great cruiseline on the 30th!

Before the cruise, we have 7 nights at DLR and then 3 nights at WDW resort. Disney overload??? No way!!!

Dh and I will be on this cruise, celebrating our 17th anniversary. Got off the Magic on May 9th after a 5 night cruise (with the kids) and came home and booked this one for just the two of us about a week later. The kids do not know yet. So excited!

Is anyone else interested in joining in on the fun? Could everyone participating please post the # of people, tell male / female, and give age and gender for children, & maybe a favorite character? so i can choose appropriate gifts for everyone! For example, in our cabin will be 4 - my husband, my son age 9 (little green alien), my daughter age 7 (Rapunzel), and myself (Mickey & Minnie). Thanx!! I'm really hoping we get lots more people to participate!
