Not dvc deernut but I did go on the this past Sept. members only cruise and had a wonderful time. The menus seemed to be the same as the normal 4 day cruises. We also had the pirate night special menu as they would normally have.

The cruise had a lot of fun activities including the first night they showed Frankenweenie which was 3 weeks prior to it's being released to the public. They also had special guest come on to host special sessions and it seems like everytime you go back to your stateroom there is some special dvc gift in there for you.

You'll have a great time I'm sure!

This will be my 2nd DVC cruise (1st was last September) and we had such a great time we can't wait to go again. I'll be traveling with my mom and as this cruise will fall on her birthday we spluged and went for cat V.

Looking forward to getting know you guys over the next 9 months!

Welcome to the cruise and welcome to Concierge! We will have a group of 11 (all family) up there, so it should be a great time. We've cruised twice and this will be our 1st Member Cruise.

I'm posting from the Yacht Club today. Went over to Epcot this morning and TT was closed until 11am. Going back real soon to use my fastpass before 1:30. Weather is good so far.

THIS WILL BE OUR 11th CRUISE FIRST ONE AS PLATINUM. WE HAVE MADE GREAT FRIENDS ON THE MEMBER CRUISES. YOU WILL NOTICE US AT THE ADULT POOL EVERYDAY. EVERY YEAR ONCE WE GET ON WE LINK OUR DINING TOGETHER SO WE ARE AT THE SAME TABLE. WE ALWAYS DO LATE DINING. WE ALWAYS PUT IN A REQUEST TO HAVE THE DINING ROTATION WITH 2 NIGHTS OF ANIMATORS PALETTE. IF WE DINE A PALOS WE MAKE SURE WE ARENT DINING ON PIRATES NIGHT BECAUSE LAURA AND I DRESS UP AS PIRATES.
THIS PAST SEPT MEMBERS CRUISE FROM SEPT16th to the 20th WAS MUCH BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS YEAR. LAST YEAR THEY HAD JUST FIRED JIM LEWIS(thank god) MANY OF US FELT LIKE IT HAD BECOME A CRUISE TO PUSH MORE POINT BUYING AND IT SEEMED LIKE THEY WERE CUTTING BACK ON THINGS THAT MADE THE CRUISE SPECIAL. 2 YEARS AGO WAS THE 20th ANNIVERSARY BUT WE FELT THERE WAS NO WOW FACTER THEY WERE STRESSING. CLAIRE, WHO IS IN CHARGE IS TRYING TO RIGHT THE SHIP. I THINK SHE IS DOING A GREAT JOB SO FAR.THEY ARE LISTENING TO THE MEMBERS FROM THE PAST CRUISE.
BY THE WAY THE LAST NIGHT OF THE CRUISE THIS PAST SEPT WAS FANTASTIC. 4 LEADING SINGERS FROM DISNEY BROADWAY MUSICALS

I GUESS THAT WOULD BE THE NEGATIVE ABOUT THE CRUISE.

THE POSITIVE OUT WEIGHS THE NEGATIVE. WHERE DO I START 2 YEARS AGO I DROVE 7 HOURS TO OUR REALLY GOOD FRIENDS (WHO WE HAVE SAT WITH THE PAST 6 CRUISES)NEAR BOSTON JUST TO PHONE IN. UP HERE IN CANADA IT WAS ALWAYS HARD TO GET THRU. THATS HOW BAD WE WANTED TO BE ON THE MEMBER CRUISE.
DCL, THE SPECIAL GUESTS(that DVC bring on the ship) AND ESPECIALLY ALL OF THE MEMBERS WHO SAIL THE CRUISE MAKE THE CRUISE WORTH DOING.

IM GLAD WE GOT ON THIS CRUISE BECAUSE I KNOW WE WILL ALL HAVE A LOT OF FUN. OH BY THE WAY,THE KONK KOOLERS ARE SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!

WE LIKE ALL DCL CRUISES BUT THE MEMBER CRUISES BRINGS A WHOLE SHIP OF DISNEY CRAZIES LIKE MYSELF TOGETHER WE SEE A LOT OF FAMILIAR FACES YEAR AFTER YEAR. THE SPECIAL ENTERTAINMENT, DUCKY WILLIAMS, BILL FARMER AND OTHER SPECIAL GUESTS THAT COME ONBOARD AND TALK ABOUT THEIR CAREER AND INVOLVMENT IN DISNEY. 2 YEARS AGO WE HAD THE REAL KERMIT THE FROG, LAURA AND I HAD LUNCH AT SERENITY BAY WITH VINCE PAPALI(not sure of spelling) AND HIS WIFE. WE TALKED LIKE WE WERE GOOD FRIENDS. I REMEMBERED WHEN HE PLAYED FOR THE EAGLES IN THE 70s, AND WE HAD JUST WATCHED THE MOVIE INVINCABLE(again the spelling might be wrong)

Finally the last of the lizards are out of limbo and really for some smooth sailing. We have a lot to celebrate....honeymoon. Anniversary. 75th birthday. Family reunion. meeting new found friends. This is our first disney cruise and we are very excited crazy8 plus 2 plus 2 plus 2.

It's great that you have a nice group to celebrate all these important events together. I'm sure it will be an awesome time for everyone. It makes our cruise more exciting as well.

I'm looking forward to the special entertainment and hope that the whole atmosphere in general has a different feel to it. I would love to hear the Broadway stars.

My son and I got to meet Vince Papale a few years back at an Eagles charity event near our home. My son got his autograph and he was very easy to talk to.

It sounds like this is going to be an amazing experience. Gonna have to make the most if it with only 4 days, already I am wishing it were longer. My husband and I have only been on two RC cruise each 7 days. They seems too short. I am very excited to get my kids all together on board. We have done many family excursion to WDW. We have always had a blast traveling around the parks as a large group. This is looking to be another great adventure. Can't wait to meet everyone and create some great memories.

My husband and I have been on a few different cruises and cruise lines, (NCL, Carnival, Princess and some that no longer exisist!) As for DCL, we have done 2-7 night, a 5-night, and a 2-night weekend getaway this past summer on the Magic, now that was short!! We are looking forward to this, and we know it is going to fly by, but since we are not taking the children with us, we will be able to relax a little quicker then if they were there!!
I am going to find a lounge chair at Quiet Cove pool on Sunday and stay there until we dock again Thursday!!

When we decided to try the member cruise, we also booked the preceding 3-day. By doing the B2B, we're getting 7 nights out of the deal!

We are doing a B2B with the 3 night right after this one.
