Getting so excited!! Almost finished with FE's and working on my packing list and finishing up some last minute projects! I can't believe in just over a month we will be setting sail!

Does anyone know if Formal Night will also be the night when they do the "golden mickeys" or whatever?
Trying to decide if we should do Palo that night or not.

Yes, I believe formal night is the same night. I think they do 2 shows of the Golden Mickeys too...one early, one late. I think they are designed to be attended after each of the dinner rotations. You can walk on the red carpet in your fancy clothes and attend this "formal" awards show.

It's getting so close! And our 2nd set of travel docs arrived in the mail today!

I also got my travel documents today--but they have the old room number on them. If I just change it to the right room, will it get to the right place or will they scan it and deliver it to the wrong room?

Not having sailed on DCL, I don't know the answer to this one!

I called and asked the same thing when ours had the wrong number... the guy said that it doesn't matter that they use the barcodes on the tags to get them to the right place and the barcodes follow you from room to room thru your reservation...so you can change rooms 50 times if need be... which would make sense...how else can they keep track of people upgrading at port? He also said if I want I can cross off the old number and write the new one on there **just in case** but I think he only said that to make me feel better because I was feeling a bit panicky

Made my packing list already and just took an inventory of what clothes everyone has. Now, I just need to buy a few things and we will be set!!

You got in just under the wire! The FE closes on Aug. 31st! The link has been posted a lot of times. You will be on the "latecomers list."

The wristbands are cruise specific bands that one of our members is having made. If I remember correctly, they are $4 each. You can sign up for them on the FE list in the columns on the far right. They are size specific.

If you want to make a DisMeet t shirt, let me know and I will send you the graphic. We are ironing them on red shirts. Be sure to buy the iron on paper for dark shirts.

We are also having a champagne tasting for the ladies and the men will have a beer tasting at the same time. For this, we are wearing pink shirts with a special iron on, pink boas and tiaras.
