September 29, 2012 - Ropin' Some Magic in the Western Caribbean

Ok gang, this is what I've come up with so far using the FE list. At this time, we have around 50 adults (I may have counted some twice, but this seems like a good #), 50 youth and around 15 toddler. I can order all 3 sizes, or just the adult and youth. The cost is about $4 each. The wristband will be black with Red lettering stating "Ropin' Some Magic" on the front with little anchors and the back will have "9/29/12 - 10/06/12". If the amount ordered drops, then so will the price. The place I am using sends 100 freee with every 100 hundred ordered, so I'm thinking we will have plenty left over for any new comers to the board. I will pay for them when I order and then everyone can either paypal me, mail it, or pay on the ship at the greet...how does this work for everyone? Let me know! I'll need to place the order by late August.

The wristband idea works for me, sounds super cute!

I hesitate saying this bc it spoils a small part of my FE surprises but I ordered TONS of magnets through artscow, when you setup an account they give you tons of "free" items including magnets and you just pay for shipping and processing, they all turned out really cute. I went this route bc our printer isn't all that great

We are also homeschoolers. We are going with some other homeschool friends, and I was wondering if there were any other homeschoolers that would be on board since it is in the middle of the school year. Gotta love homeschool field trips!!

Hello everyone. We are the close friends of Lori's. I have been looking at disboards for years. I joined last year and loved all the tips I received prior to our Disney trip last year. I have been to Disney multiple times, but this year, thanks to our son just being born and some prodding from my wife and Lori, we are going on our first Disney cruise.

My crew is

Daddy - Derek (29)
Mommy - Kelly (30)
Daughter - Cameron ( will turn 4 two weeks before cruise)
Son - Carson (will be 4 1/2 months on cruise date)

My wife wanted to sign us up for the Fish extender group, so I put our names on the sheet. Let me know if I need to do anything else.

Love the bracelet idea! 2 adults and 1 toddler here. But dont order the toddler on my behalf, she probably wont want to wear one. I dont know whats wrong with this kid! She doesnt like jewelry!

Oh and I can paypal you. If so, will you be mailing the bracelets or giving them on the ship? I imagine you could put them in a reg envelope with 2 stamps?

This may be a dumb question - but does anyone know what the weather will be like? Is it cooler in the evening on the ship? Im not sure what to pack!

The highs are supposed to be in the mid 80's. I've read that it can get cool at night with the wind, so I'm packing jackets. There is a thread about what people wished they had packed that had some great suggestions. Maybe some of our veteran cruisers have some good suggestions.

The wristbands sound good to me, too. Just realized that they will coordinate with red shirts! I'll need 2 adult, so if you send me a paypal invoice I will get the money to you!

I understand that the dining rooms can get cool also. I am bringing a sweater and a pashmina shawl. On my previous cruises (except the one to Alaska, of course) that has been enough to keep me warm!

Sounds good! I would need 3 adults, and they will make great souvenir!!!

I was organizing my FE lists and I noticed that there are several staterooms repeated on the spreadsheet. And Piper is listed twice. Once as stateroom 6147 and another as 6174... ?

Some people are on all the lists, they requested that they be in every group, as far as Piper cabin number, I looked and the first two groups have the same cabin numbers? She hasnt put herself on the 3rd group, thats something she must do.

If you have read the previous pages, you will see that some of us decided to be included on the first two lists when they were split. You are on the third list. You will only get and receive gifts from people on you own list (unless you get pixie dust from someone on one of the other lists.)

It looks like we will be starting a fourth list soon. We are trying to keep the groups small and as even as possible. If you want, you may ask to be added to the fourth list as well as the third.

Yes please add me to the 4th list as well! I'm really sorry, I thought we were doing FE gifts for everyone on the list!- I didn't realize there were groups. I've already started making my FE gifts and planned for every cabin to get gift(s). This clears things up tremendously. Thanks!
