Jac: I've updated the list w/ Christa's kids names

TNMomof3: I've still got parasailing at CC scheduled.. I thought they are back up and operating again? I wonder what all the trouble was about.. and I really hope that they have it when we go there.. my DH will be really disappointed :sad2:

I have to look at the navigator again.. when is Tea with Alice or Tea with Wendy?? I think it maybe something that we have to make reservations for? I'd really want to do that with my DD.

They're just plastic containers for your valuables such as wallet, phone, camera etc.. you can get them at REI or maybe any sporting good stores. Maybe this link might show up..

We cancelled the parasailing because of the problems:scared1: , believe they switched to a new operator still doing the Stingrays though.:cool1:

We would like to do Tea with Wendy also, I think I heard it was on Sunday. You have to get tickets fron guest services though and it is 1st come 1 serve.

Trying this again as I have yet to get the hang of multiple quotes!:rotfl:

Thanks for the info, I checked out the website and am going to look for them!
:thumbsup2

Those waterproof bags look awesome!

Pauline, the tea was mentioned on page two of the Navigator set we got. It's on Saturday's information where it's telling you how to book Palo, or where to change dining assignments. I do think it used to be Tea with Wendy, but this says "Tea with Alice - Be sure to stop by Guest Services to reserve your special pass for one of two opportunities to have Tea with Alice Limited number available."

We're still scheduled for parasailing at Castaway Cay. I think earlier in the summer they had switched vendors for this, so didn't have it for a short while. The latest thing was, I believe, mechanical problems. I read different things about some people getting calls that it was back on and others calling and being told it's temporarily off. I put a little more weight behind the folks getting called by Disney. So, I'm assuming it's back on, but would love to read some reports from recent cruisers.

They have it at several different times and on different days. Last year we did tea with Wendy on Thursday at 3:00. I was going to shoot for 3:00 Sunday this time. It only lasts about 20 minutes. They offer on sea days in the afternoon.

Here are a couple of pics from last year:

Also, while everyone is planning days, the princess meet on Thursday (11 am, I think) is great! There are several princesses and while they don't sign autographs, they interact with the girls one on one and take photos. You wait in one line and meet all the princesses. They also hang banners in the atrium. Very cool! More pics:

I think that would be really neat to have it done as a scrapbook layout! :thumbsup2

Guys, what is the latest about Castaway Cay parasailing? We really wanna do this and at first I wanted to do it there thinking it would be more safe and the cool view we'd have. Since all this turmoil of will they have it/will they not, I've seriously considered cancelling and parasailing at Orient Beach instead. It's almost 1/2 the cost and I think you get more air time too. There would be something special about doing it at CC though. I hope all the troubles are worked out.

I briefly glanced thru the Navigators and found the following tasting times.

Sunday - martini 4:00

Monday- beer 3:00
- margarita/tequila 4:00

Thursday - wine 2:00
- martini 2:00
- beer 4:00

Did I miss any? I'm going to have to pass on Sunday, 'cause I'm sure we'll be busy getting ready for formal night. Thursday looks good, but our couples massage is scheduled for 2:00 that day. Maybe I can get that rescheduled. If not, I will be going to the bar and asking for the martini sampler they do. I think it's the exact same cocktails you get at the tasting, just not the accompanying information. The official tastings sound best if you can make them though. :yay:

Anybody familiar with this Tea with Alice thing?

Thanks for the schedule Alicia! We can shoot for the Thursday at 2:00 then or even the margarita tasting if Monday is the best day/time. What do you all think?

I started the spreadsheet, Actually it is a chart since I do those much better!

We have 29 kids on the list!
I put stars next to TNMomof3 and Beck'sMom children's names so their older kids can get bags if there are extra.

Thanks! Yes, by Thursday we had all thoe princesses autographs anyway so it was not missed at all. It was neat because as you can see in the pictures, Cinderella and Belle just sat on the floor so they were down on the girls' level. At least my DD, seemed to warm up much quicker that way. princess:

oh my gosh! the picture frame mat is so cute! I will do that too! So I was planning on doing the autograph book, is anyone doing that too?

Yes! We bought our DD's each a new autograph book and matching pen for MNSSHP and the cruise. Our last two Disney trips, we had spiral bound (cheap) autograph books. We'd have the characters sign on the bottom page (if the book was opened with page on top, then spiral, then new page on bottom -does that make sense???). We'd take a photo of the character and DD getting signature. Then when we got photos developed, we glued the photo on the top page (above the spiral) with the autograph on the bottom page under the spiral. It becomes a personalized photo album and a terrific reminder of each moment of our trip!! :wizard:

Veronica, your Eva is just precious! And I love her princess dress. My Lydia has the same one. Funnier still, I'm wearing the adult version to MNSSHP!! I'm not sure if it will qualify as a funny or scary costume! :rotfl2: Do you also shop at "My Dress Up Trunk" on Ebay? ;)

Veronica, I saw your post about coupons to Coral World. I printed the coupons in July and they say expires 12/31/2007. I can bring a copy of mine for you if you would like it.

Hmmm, maybe I was loading a cached copy? :confused3 After I did the math, I figured it would only save about $25 so I think I may just stick with DCL. I love the mindless aspect of a planned excursion. ;) Thanks!

I didn't actually buy them from there but that is where I first saw them. We have five and all Eva's friends love coming to our house just for those costumes. :rotfl: They are well loved so I bought two new Disney Store costumes for this year. They aren't nearly as soft though! I love that you are wearing the adult version. Very cool!

Wow you guys have been busy since yesterday. Great news Savannah just has bug bites. Jade's feeling better too. Now I hope they don't get anything else. I'll be praying that everyone else and there kids stay healthy too.

You can add us to the goodie bags too. Thank you so much for doing this.

Hae a good night everyone. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah I'm also in for margarita or tequila tasting. Either one.

and we are dressing up for formal night but nothing fancy. My girls will just be wearing their princess dresses most likely. I don't think they will want to wear anything else, and I don't want to pack anything else.

Good Night Everyone!:cloud9:

I had to share. I've become newly addicted to the Disign boards looking at graphics for tshirt designs and door magnets.

I loved this- and it is sooooo true:

I found the one below and am going to put it on tshirts for my girls. We'll pick them up from school at noon on Thursday, take them to the car, and have these on their booster seats!! Then off to the airport with them screaming all the way!
