The Halloween candy is being stocked in stores now. You could always pick up some candy! It doesn't have to be "pirate themed".

That's a good idea. I'll contribute candy. I just got back from Target and still did not find anything Pirate themed.

So far, I'm in for the martini tasting and 80s night. Martini tasting on my own, dh can watch Fallon! Possibly the margarita tasting too.

Um, ibela, Fallon (17 months), room . . . 7020 I think? Or 7620? Can't check my res # now . . . .

Fave 80s song: oooh, toughie. You guys listed some good ones already. How about You spin me round?

Too funny! Are you in the former cat 5, now cat 7 room on deck 7? I am too! I know we are in 7620, so I am guessing you are in 7020! We are close to each other. Our friends actually had that stateroom booked at one time but canceled and are now spending the week prior at WDW instead . Glad a great person got that room.

The picture mat is 5x7 and the picture is a 6x8, which is the size photo Shutters makes most of the character photos. We lost hte Shutters Border, but that was not a big deal. The mat is two sizes bigger, so maybe an 11x14 with a 5x7 opening. I think...

ETA: I bought it at Target. They still had them a few weeks ago.

Harper: We're doing the autograph book too. Do they have autograph books on the ship that says disney cruise line?? I'd like to use that.. one page is for autograph and i'll reserve the opposite page for a picture (dd getting a that character's autograph)

Grammy: I called my TA too and they said that Disney sends it out to them almost last minute!!

Lori: We have a cannon camera.. they work pretty well. My DH's Digital SLR EOS has no delay you can click how many times a minute.. HE's going to lug that around as well. I have to buy those dry packs at REI today or tomorrow so that our cameras and camcorders are protected at the beach.

Parasailing is on at CC again!!
Who else is going to serenity bay?? i'll have my "alone" time between 11:00-12:30

Hey Girls!! I just realized I mistyped the Martini tasting day. It's on Sunday according to the most recent Navigator. Will that still work? Or should we shoot for Thrusday? I think those were the two days offered. We might firm up the day and time at our 3:00 meet the first day since the times could change for our cruise.

Last year we did both. Actually, we did two autograph books because the type with the picture on one side and autograph on the other fill up really quickly. So we got a plain one as well. Plus, if we saw Mickey 10 times, Eva wanted his autograph ten times.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the mat. This year I was thinking of creating a two page scrapbook layout just for autographs and submitting that. Does that sound crazy?

Guys, what is the latest about Castaway Cay parasailing? We really wanna do this and at first I wanted to do it there thinking it would be more safe and the cool view we'd have. Since all this turmoil of will they have it/will they not, I've seriously considered cancelling and parasailing at Orient Beach instead. It's almost 1/2 the cost and I think you get more air time too. There would be something special about doing it at CC though. I hope all the troubles are worked out.

I briefly glanced thru the Navigators and found the following tasting times.

Sunday - martini 4:00

Monday- beer 3:00
- margarita/tequila 4:00

Thursday - wine 2:00
- martini 2:00
- beer 4:00

Did I miss any? I'm going to have to pass on Sunday, 'cause I'm sure we'll be busy getting ready for formal night. Thursday looks good, but our couples massage is scheduled for 2:00 that day. Maybe I can get that rescheduled. If not, I will be going to the bar and asking for the martini sampler they do. I think it's the exact same cocktails you get at the tasting, just not the accompanying information. The official tastings sound best if you can make them though.

Anybody familiar with this Tea with Alice thing?

Have to ask niece and nephew if they want autograph books. They are almost 10 now and love pics but I think are losing interest in the autographs! And here I am getting a pillowcase and a photomat for myself and Mom
