:yay: Hi all.
BIG big tip....

Go to michaels or what ever big craft store you have in your part of the country and buy a package of flicker tea lights...
They run by batteries and they are included with the package, already installed.
On the mothers day cruise I left one on the sink countrer in the bathroom and one on the counter before the wordrobe(SP) they work great and they have an on and off switch to save the batteries.
I tested it out in my bathroon and it lasted over two weeks turning it on when it got dark and off when we got up in the morning.. I think the package of six was less than $5.00 remember flickering tea lights...
You can just buy one instead of the pack if you want to try it...
NO FIRE they are battery powered LED lights.....
gg...

Good tips about the flicker tea lights!

We want to go parasailing on CC and even booked it, me ds, dbil and niece and nephew, however ds is a little nervous about it. Can anyone describe what you do from beginning to end so I can reassure her? I am going anyway :cool1: and I think the kids want to go too:banana: ! Thanks!

Has anyone fed the stingrays on CC? What was that like? Thanks!

My roommate and I went parasailing in January on CC and it was a blast!! When we got to CC we signed up for a time-slot and they told us to come back about 30 minutes before the time so that we could go over the safety aspects and sign the "if you die its not our fault" form....I wouldn't tell your ds this though :p....anywho...after that they took us in groups of 8 out on the boat...you go up tandem..or at least everyone in my boat did...you take a very VERY bumpy boat ride out past the ship probably a good half mile. After you stop the deckhand helps you get into the harness and what not and then you're off!! You fly for about 10 minutes total..completely worth that 10 minutes too!! You go higher than the ship itself and you can see for miles on a clear day! The water is crystal clear and you can even see wild life! After your decent they give you option to do a nice cool dip into the water and then reel you in. Overall it is a great experience, and well worth the money!

I hope you decide to take the dip and go parasailing it is a great experience!

I saved 1600 lives today... Twice
THanks for the laugh Denise ! :rotfl:

I'm off to wdw until Aug 8......check back in with you all in a week and half :thumbsup2

Anyone else doing the Personal Watercraft Eco Tour at CC? My DH is booked for parasailing, so I wanted to do this. He wants to go with me, but what to do with my DD? Can she stay with the kids club at CC for a little while? Do they even do activities with the kids club at CC? The tour takes a little more than an hour and I'd love to do this with my DH.

Dewey'sGirl- thanks for pointing this out to me - i kinda overlooked this activity.

But remember you have to wait until I believe 1230 to change your reservation...not quite sure exactly what time, but I think it is 1230..sometimes a line forms, other times not so much...its really just the luck of the draw...the last two times we were able to book Palo once we got there without any hassle at all.

Jajamo: My DH and I have 9:45am reservations after which he'll go parasailing while I go shopping. We'll then meet up at 12:30 to pick up my DD at the club and spend the pm together.
I can't wait! We got the double one, so I guess we'll ride tandem? I just hope we won't encounter any sharks (as I've read on the other threads) :scared1:

I am not brave enough to try parasailing yet, and since my dh and dd are afraid of heights I will have to find out from all of you how it was.

I can't believe that on Sunday it will be just 2 months till the cruise!! Right now we are focusing on getting dd ready to start her first year of middle school in 2 weeks! Which none of us are ready for (she is growing up too quickly).

Hope everyone has a wonderful evening and weekend, it looks like it is going to rain all weekend here. I am so ready for this cruise and some sun!

:sad2: Hi all,
ANOTHER VIRGIN! (I couldn't pass this one up) self admitted no less, we got pirate: with and without balls male and female virgins (with kids):lmao: :lmao: and they make polish jokes about me:confused3 what is this world coming to....(przybojewski is my last name) see grumpy-gramps is alot easier.. As far as your son goes tell him at least you didn't ask him to wear a princess dress (that will make he think about his next answer) for formal night..
gg

You crack me up, GG!! :rotfl2: I loved the part about telling DS I didn't ask him to wear a princess dress. Next time he whines, I'm going to use that one! Thank you for the tip! ;)

Well, my DS will be 4 when we sail. He doesn't know it yet, but we will be matching at least 2 times on the ship. Fortunately, he is still young enough to think it is cool. Most mornings, after he gets dressed, he wants to help pick my clothes so we can 'match' in color, if nothing else.

That's super cute!!! I think the only time DS and I have ever matched is when he bought me a Spider-Man shirt about 5 years ago that was similar to his. I still have mine, he outgrew his a long, long time ago!

We are finally in single digits...............

 9 WEEKS !!!!

:rockband: party: :dancer: :jumping1: :drinking1

PARTY TIME !!

:scared1: That's all the time I have to look unscary in a bathing suit for 7 days??? Guess I won't order that stack of pancakes at breakfast this morning. Thanks for the warning!!;)

But yeap, I'm ready to get this party started. Just put on Pink's "Get the Party Started" on to celebrate! :rockband:
