Topsider buffet - 12:00 - 2:00

Topsider buffet - 12:00 - 2:00

feel free to bring anything you wish for the bags...they aren't that big but if you want to bring something bigger we can just hand it out with it

I would like to add pirate coins to the goody bags, the chocolate ones, they are small and are usually popular with the kids. I can bring them to the 1st meet.pirate:

BRUNCH - I noticed on both of my previous Disney cruises that there were time slots open and available for brunch if you logged in right at the time the window opens for booking, 3am est (or some folks were even able to get in earlier in the evening). I also have heard that they hold slots open for the 90 day and the 75 day folks so everyone gets a shot at it. They do also say that slots are held back for people to book on the cruise, but I have only had luck with Palo dinner when booking on the cruise, I was waitlisted for brunch and never got called and I was maybe the 15th person in line on boarding day. My suggestion is to log on and go for the brunch the very first minute it's available to book. This is where I made my mistake last time, I booked excursions and spa first, then went to dinner, looked at brunch times, thought about it, went to look at tea times, came back to book brunch, GONE! If it's real important to you, do not wait. Do not book excursions, spa or anything else. 1st the brunch, then everything else after. Good luck! :wizard:

Very excited, thanks to everyone for the warm welcome...if you need help with anything just shoot me a message and i would be more than happy to help out. This is my first cruise since stumbling upon the DIS boards so I am really anxious to meet and find other people that are as excited as me! I am looking forward to our meets and want to see as many of you as possible on our floating paradise!

Ok...As this is my first cruise I am not familiar with any of the food on the ship so wherever the majority wants to eat is fine with me. So where's it going to be?

How about Lumiere's? If we meet for lunch , say on the second sea day, we can meet starting at 11:30. Lumiere's is bright and open and I think would serve the purpose better. Of course, I'll be wherever the majority wants to meet.

We could all meet at the Captain Mickey statue at the entrance of the Lumieres at 11:30. Anyone who arrived a little late could just tell the waiter seating them that they're meeting the Disboard group.

Works for me...How about everyone else? When is pirate night?

My last count was about 36...It changes so much I can't keep up though. I also wasn't sure on what ages to include. I think I did 12 and under but I guess it all depends on the kid. There will probably be some 11 & 12's that think they are lame but by the time they are about 15 it might be cool again :rotfl2:. My dsis is 21 and would probably be really excited with one :rolleyes1 I got 50 bags so I am planning on things to go into all of them. I figure if nothing else some kids can have two or some adults might even want one. I wouldn't mind bubbles for pirate night. :rotfl:

Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it! I will do just that when the booking opens up for us in what, a week?! yay!

I wanted to let you know that I won't be able to have you ship the box to my parents because my father was called to pastor a church in Ohio and they no longer live in Fl and we decided to fly rather than drive. Just wanted to let you know in case you have to find someone else driving or who lives in FL. I will see if there is something I can come up with. I may do some stickers since I know my dd loves them!

That's ok...Several people are bringing items so I will have a lot less with me so I should be able to put everything in my luggage. Thanks for the offer though!

Is there a post somewhere that will have all this stuff settled so we can print it out as a DIS NAVIGATOR?

One cruise we were on the Thread Starter kept updating her first post with cruiser lists and meet times so that everything was on post #1.

I do not care where we post it, just so I know where to find it.

Not sure what we will do with the group and what we will do alone-together, but nice to have the schedule so we don't miss opportunities we would like to attend.

No we don't have one spot for all information. That would be nice though! As far as our meets we don't have any plans finalized yet.

Is anyone bringing the little pirate duckies? I'll bring them if no one is and maybe inflatable pirate beach balls also (great for CC).
