Hi Everyone! Hope Everyone had a good Holiday, We did!! Ragdoll came over and bought her DH & we all cooked up some festive hotdogs, while she was here, she personnaly Requested I snap some embarrasing photos of her and share them with everyone on the board! I Tried to talk her out of it, I Really did, but she insisted, so Here ya go!!! I Hope your Happy Now "Future mother in law"!!!

Hi, everyone. You don't know me - yet - but I feel like I already know many of you. I just stumbled across this thread two days ago, and I've read all 90 pages!!! My family will be joining you on this cruise and we cannot wait! I hope we do have a DIS meet and greet. Here is the scoop on us:

We will be traveling with DD 7, DD 5, DH 40, and me. This is our first Disney cruise, our first family cruise and our first 7-day cruise. (DH and I went on a 3 day cruise several years ago on RC, but I'm guessing that won't compare). DH and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary later this year and this cruise is how we are celebrating!

We are not telling our kids about this trip until we pack them in the car and head for the airport. Partially, this is to give them a wonderful surprise, and partially to preserve my sanity. ("Is it time to go on our trip yet..."). My DH wanted to bet me $10 that I would let the cat out of the bag before September 1, but I refused to take what I know to be a "sucker bet." LOL

Because we are newbies, we will not be able to make our reservations for Palo, CC, etc for a few more weeks. Thanks for all the tips on those!

We are flying in to Orlando late Thursday night, hanging out at POFQ on Friday, going to MNSSHP on Friday night, and renting a car to drive to the Port on Saturday.

I have become an obsessive DIS'er since booking this cruise in March, and now I will be equally obsessive about this thread.

Looking forward to meeting you in less than three months now!!

WELCOME!! We are suprising our dd too. She thinks we are going to Indianapolis. Which is true but we are flying out of there! This will be the third time we have suprised her so tell you husband it can be done and is lots of fun. My dd would be saying "Is it time yet?" all the time and if something happened and we had to cancel it would really upset her so we do it this way and it is so exciting to see her face when she finds out.

The more the merrier, the list just keeps growing.
Me and DW will be arriving at Old Key West on Wednesday 26 Sept, on Friday the rest of my crew will arrive and we will go the the Marriott at Cocoa, Beach for the night. Just like to get to Port early for check in.. This is the first time we will be sailing with group, 7 cabins so far, some children and my brother will probably be in a wheel chair, (have to pick that up Friday afternoon also) so were just going to play it safe and get there early on Saturday...see you then..

That is so cool Zane Anthony that next month we can say "We're going on a Disney cruise next month!" I can't believe it is that close now!

Welcome Tink's Mama - we are newbies on Disney too, so we can't make our reservations yet either. Not that I want to reserve much - but I do want to do the Palo's brunch! Our excursions we are doing on our own and I am not sure about any spa treatments. I think I will see what I can get once onboard.

We are coming in late on Friday (kids have to be in school that day and my bro has to work) and we are staying at the Country Inn and Suites. We are renting a car to get to the port.

Hey, does anyone have the Passporter book? I just got one last week and I am totally loving it! I got a clearance priced older version but it is really amazing and I don't think it is too out of date. For all of you obsessive planners, you would totally love this. There is so much info in there I have not heard about after months of scouring this board. They have really done their homework! I would totally recommend it if you don't have it already.

You young guys just don't understand "WHAT HAPPENS IN CLEVELAND, STAYS IN CLEVELAND".. The shot of Harry with the pom-pom girls is sort of cute BUT to flaunt Rags on her keysta(sp) (Big Mistake, Big Big Mistake ). You'll be paying for this on for a long, long, long time.....

Just found out that I will be going on this cruise as well!! My two roommates and myself booked this cruise yesterday. We are very excited to be sailing on DCL again. Kyle (19) and I have sailed twice this year already, once in January on the Wonder and the second time for Spring Break on the Magic. We are finishing up our cruises with the last "normal" cruise we haven't been on yet. Brendon(21) has never been on a cruise, so we conned him into going. I am very excited about Disney and their cruises!!!

I think that I am more excited for CC than I am anything else, LOL!

Hope to get to know all of you and make this cruise a great experience!

Welcome from me as well. I agree with you and Ragdoll.....CC is the best. It's probably one of the main reasons I am hesitant to book another cruise line. I'd miss CC too much.
