BTW the first cruise I was upgraded from a 9B to a 5B. DCL called me a week before leaving. I told her I was doing the B2B with the Cruise to Nowhere and had the same room for both so she upgraded both. Just a little pixie dust.Tinked you've cruised Canada?!?! Yes, twice. The first cruise out of NYC and again in the beginning of Sept.
Did you drive to the NYC port? Absolutely. It was wonderful or maybe I should say Magical being two hours away from the port. The first cruise I was with two friends and dropped them off with the luggage on the lower level. Unexpectedly got chased and had to go to the parking level. Called my friends to tell them and both their phones were in the car.! Parking was great. Had no problems at all. The Sept. cruise we drove directly to the roof to park and came down the elevator I believe. There were people on the roof to help with the luggage. The second time to the roof there were dogs to sniff the car. I think you pay on entry. I will go right to parking. It's only a four day cruise, how much luggage can you need. LOL that's what I keep telling myself..
Did you visit Halifax? Loved Halifax! Toured the Fort, visited Peggy's Cove, the weather was beautiful both times. Doing Titanic stuff this time.
would love to hear about it.
Yes to 8 am..
Johnny Quest I live in Haddon Township. Glad so many New Jerseyans take advantage of the Disney sailing out of NYC. I LOVE just being a drive away for the ship. I was hoping the Magic would come back. Hope they continue doing this. I just love past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and going under the Verrazano Bridge. I get up at 4 am when we reenter the port. Its so peaceful and exciting. My father came to this country through Ellis Island.
This is our first cruise from NYC and we can't wait. It will be a whole new experience...sailing past so much history. My Grandfather and his sister immigrated through Ellis Island at the turn of the century as teenagers...fascinating. I'm sure we will be up on deck as we arrive back in port also.

great! We have a PAT at 11:30 so I'm working out logistics. Did you park at the port? I remember reading parking was on the rooftop with a bag drop off on a lower level but it was confusing to figure out. Can you drive straight up to the roof and walk down with your bags? Also the spaces on the roof seemed limited. Was there ample parking?
oh and what did you guys do in Halifax?
