We got Palo ressies which is what we really wanted. Does anyone know what night Pirate night is? Or any other special nights?

Thanks!
Lisa

That's awesome. I have a few more days to wait then I can book my stuff. It's going to be a long week.:sad1:

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure our Palo night wasn't the same night. Kids would be so sad to miss it again! Last time we were all sick in bed that night.

OH NO! Yea you don't want to miss it! We actually have our Palo night on Pirate night! LOL... but we are all adults and have it before the Pirate Party! :thumbsup2 Don't care too much about the pirate bandana in the dining room. :goodvibes We have done it before!

This should apply for our cruise:
Code:
Eastern Caribbean:

Night Port Dress Code
Saturday Port Canaveral Casual
Sunday Day at Sea Formal
Monday Day at Sea Casual
Tuesday St. Maarten Pirate Theme
Wednesday	St. Thomas Casual
Thursday	Day at Sea Semi-Formal
Friday Castaway Cay Casual

Hmm it also says: On the 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruises, you'll visit three unique destinations. First, St. Maarten, the island that is peacefully divided between the French and Dutch. You'll also visit the island of St. Thomas (part of the U.S. Virgin Islands), with excursions to St. John. Finally, you'll take the ultimate getaway on Disney's private island paradise at Castaway Cay. Sailings later in the year will not visit St. Thomas, but will instead have a stop at San Juan.

but that won't apply to us, not sure how much later in the year they mean than the end of Sept. Maybe they were referring to 2012.

Oh well I'm soo excited I'm still reading the forums daily looking for any more tips/tricks. One of my favorites recently was to bring your own ice cream cones (like waffle cones or sugar cones) or treats for the ice cream at Goofy's Galley.

Let's hope the next 80 days goes by quickly!! pirate:

Our cruise stops in St. Thomas not San Juan. :thumbsup2

"Our cruise stops in St. Thomas not San Juan."

Yeah I understand that, just not sure what they were referring too... would be nice to have some other options so maybe they are going to San Juan PR in the future...

oh well I'm still looking forward to the new cruise listings which hopefully will be posted in October.. I'll have to get a dummy booking onboard to swap over to a new one for the discount...

Woohoo just over 2 months... were getting soo close I can't wait...

I think that is for 2012 as you stated earlier! :goodvibes I believe it will be one of those "special" cruises like they do the double dip at CC! :thumbsup2

But yes... I am SO excited too!! My phone tells me 78 days for us! We are coming in the night before!

Ok cruisers! I had to buy a new computer because mine crashed and unfortunately I lost my FE list! So... for those of you that are participating can you send me your info? :confused3

Names & ages (and gender if there is a coed name)
Cabin #'s (if you have them)
Celebrations

Thanks! And sorry for being a pain in the butt! :headache:

Hey guys!!!

I am hoping that perhaps someone can help us ~

We are on the cruise on the Magic right after yours (Oct 1-8th) and my DH and I are very curious as to how the new port arrival times are going to work out for the Magic (they start for the Dream Aug 2nd).

Will any of you on this cruise be posting once you get in the terminal or on the ship before you sail off?

We drive in the AM of the cruise from Tampa and have the 11am arrival time, and previously, we were the kind that liked to arrive at 10am and have boarding #2....

We are most interested in how they handle the port arrivals and boarding numbers (and maybe even dining rotations when you get your KTTW cards).

Anyways, if any of you would be so kind, we would be most appreciative :thumbsup2

TIA!

REPEAT POST! I have only heard from one person!

Hi everyone,

We will be on this cruise as well! This will be my 3rd Disney cruise, I've done the 4 night to Nassau and CC and the 5 night CC Double Dip. I will be cruising with one of my best friends Sissy, this will be her first Disney cruise! We're both going stir crazy counting down the days. I have not done a FE exchange before but I think this might be the cruise to get started on.

Doing Palo for brunch for the first time and trying to decide which night for dinner. Tough, tough choices. :lmao:

Only 76 more days!!!

Welcome Aboard Tanya:goodvibes

I'll get you added to the list on pg.3 later today.

You and me both are going crazy waiting. I finally get to check in online tonight.:woohoo:

I sat yesterday and wrote out DCL tips on note cards to carry w/me on the ship.

12:14am and I can't book my excursions. :headache:

Keep trying! It was 12:30am before I could book mine! My parents however, couldn't book until 7am on their day. :confused3 They aren't Gold CC members, just silver so they had to wait til 90 days. Keep trying though!! If not... set your alarm early! :thumbsup2

Let us know what you get!

Well I finally figured it out and got what I wanted. Not as early for the stingrays at CC but good enough.

Out of curiosity I checked to see if Palo had any time slots open. A lot of dinner openings. I really would like Palo but don't want to miss any of the rotation dinners since it's our first cruise.

It's 6:45 and I've finished checking in. It's so much more real now.:woohoo:

I just finished my online check-in too, as well as booking our excursions:banana::banana:. Time to go back to bed :lmao:

Yay! What did you get booked?

Wish I could go back to bed. I finally got on at 12:30am and got CC stingray, and Exotic Rasul booked.
At 3:45 I woke up and got 1/2 my check in online done. It wouldn't let me get it all tho.

Back up at 6 and finished check in and booked Under 2 flags.

Now I have a baby sleeping in the chair and this week is 4-H judging. It's going to be a long day. But I finally feel like it's real, and there's no turning back now.

I would HIGHLY suggest doing Palo. You will get to do the rotation dining twice in each restaurant and three times in one. I always book mine on Tuesday night because its in the restaurant we eat at 3 times. :thumbsup2 If you can talk yourself into it you should definitely do Palo, especially because its your first cruise! Its like a whole different world in there! I promise you won't be disappointed! :goodvibes

From what I've read isn't Tue Pirate night? I really couldn't miss that. We have costumes and the kids are really excited about it.
On the other hand that would sure be a reason to book another cruise. "Honey, we have to book another. We missed Palo this time and we really should go there";)
